⚠️ Important Weather Update ⚠️

Due to the extreme weather forecast, we have made the decision to cancel all classes and Soft Play on:

Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th

The safety of our students, members, parents, guardians and instructors is our main concern and priority.

The gym will remain open from:

06:30 – 20:00

If you are planning to use the gym, please make sure you book your gym session either through the app or when you arrive at the centre.

All classes and Soft Play will reopen as normal from Friday 26th morning onwards.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

A Judo Club Grading will be held on Sunday 28th June 2026 for all students with the necessary hours.

Please note, the belt listed refers to your existing grade.

⏰ Times:
10:00am–10:45am – White & Red Belts Under 10 Years
11:00am–11:45am – Red belts with Yellow, Orange & Green Under 10 Years
12:00pm–1:00pm – Red belts with Blue, Brown & Black Stripes Under 10 Years
1:15pm–2:15pm – Over 10 Years, including under 10’s Yellow belts and above

💷 Cost:
£45 Juniors
£45 Adults

⚠️ Students must hold a current AJJA licence in order to grade. Students with black licence books should bring them.

You are invited to attend our forthcoming Pre Grading & Kata Course.

This course is open to all members and will focus on the katas within our syllabus, including weapons katas. This is a great opportunity to practise under senior instructors, improve technique and sharpen up your bunkai ahead of grading.

⏰ Times:
12:30pm–1:30pm – Blue Belts to Orange Belts
1:30pm–2:30pm – Green/White Belts to Black Belts
2:30pm–3:00pm – Brown & Black Belts weapon training

Brown and Black Belt weapon training is included in the course fee.
Please bring your weapons with you. Bo/Sai.

Our next Karate Club Grading will take place on Sunday 12th July 2026.

Please arrive 30 minutes early to register before your grading.

⏰ Times:
White & Red Belts – 10:00am–10:30am
Blue Belts & Purple/White Stripe – 10:45am–11:15am
Purple & Yellow Belts – 11:30am–12:00pm
Orange Belt & Green/White – 12:15pm–1:15pm
Green & Brown/White – 1:30pm–2:30pm

💷 Cost:
White Belt to Yellow Belt – £45
Orange Belt to Brown/White Stripe – £50

🥋 BLACK BELT PRESENTATION 2026 🥋

Today marked a very special occasion as our successful students from the Easter 2026 Black Belt Course were formally presented with their Black Belts and Certificates by Hanshi Sensei F. T. Perry (9th Dan).

Achieving a black belt is a milestone that represents years of dedication, perseverance, discipline, and hard work. It is often said that only 1 in 1,000 people who begin martial arts training will go on to achieve a black belt. Every student receiving their award today should be incredibly proud of what they have accomplished.

A huge thank you must also go to the parents, families, and supporters who have spent countless hours bringing students to classes, courses, competitions, and gradings. Behind every successful martial artist is a strong support network, and today’s achievements belong to you as well.

Whilst receiving a black belt is a tremendous achievement, it is not the end of the journey—it is the beginning of a new chapter. We look forward to seeing these students continue their development and inspire the next generation of karate-ka.

Congratulations to every student who received their Black Belt and Certificate today. You have earned it.
