Update from PJ tourney - new pictures are posted. After the first 18 holes at Muirfield the top 3 low nets were Jeff Murphy who shot an even Gross Par of 71 ( way to go Murph ) followed by the other two net leaders Greg Murphy and Jim Costa. After lunch inside the Muirfield clubhouse the Gents pulled straws for partners for an afternoon fourball match. Bob and Jay won 1st and Jim and Brian followed in 2nd for the $$. One of the Highlites was meeting the great Gary Player http://www.pgatour.com/golfers/001955/gary-player/ winner of 9 majors - who happened to be playing while the PJ was going on. It was great to meet him in the lounge where he shared stories with us. Today the PJ was contested on the infamous Carnoustie Championship Course - the top 3 low scores were John Venson follwed by Jay Butler and Jeff Murphy. Tomorrow is a 36 hole day being played at St Andrews ( New course ) followed by the afternoon match at Kingsbarns. Finally a "shout out" to Dennie Underwood for arranging for our group to meet members of Carnoustie GC how invited us in for drinks and laughs in their clubhouse. Stuart and George were great host to us.
