We are a fun and welcoming club based in Truro with three teams competing in the Cornwall Senior League!

Monday = Summer League Night ☀️

Tonight we faced Hayle, which we knew would be a tough contest but we held our own and added another win under our belt 💪

With better weather conditions, we started strong and stayed well connected from the first whistle. This meant we were able to convert our centre passes, while a solid defensive effort allowed us to force turnovers and capitalise in attack ending the first quarter 5–1.
Hayle came out fighting in the second quarter, but we kept pushing and went into halftime leading 9–4.
In the second half, we continued to work hard and showed great patience in attack, moving the ball well into our shooters who worked brilliantly together to put up some lovely shots. Our centre court provided excellent support and feeding, while defensive pressure remained high, allowing us to create even more turnovers.

We finished the game with an 18–8 victory! 🎉

A huge thank you to Emma for umpiring which allows us to play in the league—we couldn’t do it without you. ✨

Can’t wait for the next one… 👏

We’re back after a little rest and kicking things off with the Cornwall Netball Summer League ☀️

Our first match saw us take on a strong Helston side. It was a tightly contested start, with just two goals in it at half time. In the third quarter, we managed to stretch our lead to four, with a full-court defence helping us pick up some key interceptions. With the wet conditions making things a bit slippy underfoot, we had to take extra care with possession in the final quarter. Our attackers worked incredibly hard, resetting when needed to keep control of the ball. We stayed strong and secured a 17–10 win! A great start to the league 🙌

Let’s hope for a bit more sunshine and less rain for the next one 🌦️

Our AGM was a brilliant chance to look back on the highs of our 2025–2026 season and talk honestly about the areas we want to keep improving. It felt really positive to reflect on just how far we’ve come.

We also finished the evening by announcing our player award winners, all chosen by our players themselves. Huge congratulations to every one of our worthy winners 🎖️

We’re ending this season feeling proud, motivated, and excited for what we can achieve in the next ✨

✨ Now that the last games are done, it feels like the perfect time to look back and take in everything we’ve achieved this season ✨

We’ve welcomed so many new faces this year, and they’ve all slotted in like they’ve always been part of the club. We somehow managed our first season with three teams, which still feels a bit wild when you think about it. And we kicked things off in our brand new dresses thanks to our wonderful sponsor 👗

It’s also been all the little things that have made this season feel special. Bigger turnouts at training. More people staying on to support the home games. Team connections getting stronger as the weeks went on, which has been so good to watch. Those close games where we dug in and kept going. And of course the extra socials and get‑togethers (and yes, we can definitely add more of those next season)🍷🫶

Now we look ahead to the AGM on Tuesday and our club awards. A chance to properly recognise and celebrate our team members and what we have all achieved this season 🏅

After that we’ll take a little break before summer training starts up again in early July, but what a season it’s been 🧡💙

Final games incoming! ✨

We’re heading into our last two games of our 2025/2026 season.

⭐ Mon 27th: Stars vs Lanivet Pandamonium
🔥 Tues 28th: Sparks vs St Agnes 5 - our final home game

After these we reset and get ready for the Cornwall Netball Summer League and the start of our summer training from July ☀️

Wishing both teams the best of luck with their last games and let’s finish strong 💪

Today a few of us decided to be a bit adventurous and take on the Wax Burner🏅🏋️‍♀️

Laughs, slips, and a full soaking later… we still smashed it 💪

🌟 A little recap on March… 🌟

We’re already nearing the end of the season, with Stripes having played their final game! All three teams are really finding their connections and working hard, giving us fantastic netball week in and week out and Stars have now won their last three games!

March also saw the return of Stacey to the court after a long time out with injury. Throughout her recovery she’s continued to be a strong voice in the club, stepping in as our third coach and giving everything to us all. It’s so good to have you back on court, Stacey.

On the court:
🧡 Stars — three brilliant wins
💗 Sparks — showing great depth and securing a strong win
💙 Stripes — finishing their season with determination and some great wins

April brings the last few games for Sparks and Stars.
Let’s keep the winning spirit alive and finish the season strong. 💪💛
