We are a fun and welcoming club based in Truro with three teams competing in the Cornwall Senior League!

💗 Steelers Stars ✨ vs Steelers Sparks ⚡️ 💙

Our Div 5 teams went head‑to‑head yesterday in the first of their two clashes, and it was everything we hoped for.

Both teams showed quality netball, great teamwork and real determination, with the game going goal for goal at times.

Stars edged ahead to secure the win, but Sparks pushed right to the final whistle and made it a proper contest right until the end.

Final Score ✨43- ⚡️35

An exciting start for both teams as they head into the new season — already looking forward to the next ones.

🏐 Join Our Shooting Circle!

We’re looking for a passionate GA/GS to join our friendly but competitive Div 5 squad in the Cornwall Netball Senior League.

Training takes place every Tuesday at 7pm at Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre, Truro.
Our season begins in September and runs through to April, with training already underway.

Another memorable weekend for a few of us at the Marvels Netball Charity Festival 🧡

This year we were lucky enough to enter not only a League team but a Mixed team too, thanks to a few of the girls partners and friends stepping in. We played some brilliant netball with plenty of laughs, and let me tell you… the boys really showed off some skills! 🏐

We love this event because we get to play a whole lot of netball we get to do it whilst supporting Marvels to raise money for a great cause. The hard work of every single person involved never goes unnoticed, and we want to say a huge thank you for letting us be a part of it again this year!

Already excited for the next one 🫶

💙🧡💗 Finishing on a Win — What a Summer League Season! 💙🧡💗

Last night wrapped up our summer league, and what a finish it was! After a fun season mixing up teams and trying new combinations, our final game against Hayle became the decider — both teams sitting on three wins, so everything came down to this one match.

A tight first quarter ended 3–2 to Steelers, but with brilliant support on the sidelines and fresh legs on court, we pushed on and secured a fantastic win. 🏆
That means we’ve now won our division’s summer league for the second year running — something we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to Emma, who umpired us throughout, and to Rach for organising us each week. And of course, thank you to every single Steeler who turned up, played, and made this season what it was. 💖

And an extra‑big thank you to Fern and Cornwall Netball for organising the league and for our prizes — massively appreciated. ✨

Tonight we’re straight back into Tuesday summer training — pre‑season starts now. Bring on 26–27, which we’re hoping will be our best one yet. 🫶

Another Monday, Another Summer League Match 🧡

In our penultimate game, it was time to face Helston for the second time. After such a close contest last round, we knew this one would be tough and it didn’t disappoint.

Helston came out strong, just edging the first quarter 6–4. The second quarter saw a few loose balls and errors from us, and they capitalised well, stretching their lead at half‑time.

We fought back with a strong third quarter, closing the gap and showing real grit, but sadly we couldn’t make up the goals and finished with a result we hadn’t hoped for.

A special mention to Carly, who spent her birthday doing what she loves most… playing netball. 💛🎉

As always, thank you to Emma for umpiring and to everyone involved in making these matches happen.

Our final summer league game sees us face Hayle. We are already looking forward to it. Fingers crossed for the ☀️!

Windswept 💨 but our winning ways were NOT blown away!

Mondays mean Summer League and this one saw us take on Bayside. Despite the challenging conditions, the team performed well and came away with the win 🌟 That’s 3 from 3 and the momentum is seriously building as we get ready to face every team one more time 🔄

Monday = Summer League Night ☀️

Tonight we faced Hayle, which we knew would be a tough contest but we held our own and added another win under our belt 💪

With better weather conditions, we started strong and stayed well connected from the first whistle. This meant we were able to convert our centre passes, while a solid defensive effort allowed us to force turnovers and capitalise in attack ending the first quarter 5–1.
Hayle came out fighting in the second quarter, but we kept pushing and went into halftime leading 9–4.
In the second half, we continued to work hard and showed great patience in attack, moving the ball well into our shooters who worked brilliantly together to put up some lovely shots. Our centre court provided excellent support and feeding, while defensive pressure remained high, allowing us to create even more turnovers.

We finished the game with an 18–8 victory! 🎉

A huge thank you to Emma for umpiring which allows us to play in the league—we couldn’t do it without you. ✨

Can’t wait for the next one… 👏

We’re back after a little rest and kicking things off with the Cornwall Netball Summer League ☀️

Our first match saw us take on a strong Helston side. It was a tightly contested start, with just two goals in it at half time. In the third quarter, we managed to stretch our lead to four, with a full-court defence helping us pick up some key interceptions. With the wet conditions making things a bit slippy underfoot, we had to take extra care with possession in the final quarter. Our attackers worked incredibly hard, resetting when needed to keep control of the ball. We stayed strong and secured a 17–10 win! A great start to the league 🙌

Let’s hope for a bit more sunshine and less rain for the next one 🌦️
