Bass Cottage is a beautifully refurbished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage on Restronguet Creek, part of the Fal Estuary, between Truro and Falmouth, Cornwall.
It faces the village green, and is only a few meters from the village quayside, where there is a slipway to launch dinghies and kayaks, and head out to the fantastic sailing waters of the Fal Estuary / Carrick Roads.
With a small sun-trap back garden (with its own palm tree) and quiet village location where kids play on the village green, this is a little slice of peaceful “local’s” Cornwall.
But only 10 minutes drive to Truro, 15 mins to the sandy beaches at Falmouth, 5 mins to the Watersports Centre at Loe Beach .....and short drives (or lovely walks) to 2 great pubs in adjacent villages 🙂
We use the cottage a lot ourselves, but when we can’t we like friends and friends-of-friends to be able to enjoy it too. Please contact me for details of availability etc. I do not advertise it through a letting agent or AirB&B, it is only available to an extended network of friends and family.
