Truro Blue Jays are an all new UK Baseball club in Cornwall - the inclusive & friendly local team! What are the Truro Blue Jays? No prior experience necessary.

We’re a newly formed baseball club looking to recruit players, umpires, coaches and other roles, ahead of the 2023 season. We’ll be running recruitment sessions in different locations around the Truro area through the winter but are looking to make various Truro and area venues, indoors and outdoors, our “Home Plate”
We’re looking for any and everyone to consider playing in our Co-ed squad. No unc

omfortable “turning up to something new where everyone knows each other” – we’ll all be brand new! Who are we? A British born, but Canadian raised, family of 5 that have just returned to the UK. Collectively bringing with us, about 40 years experience of playing, coaching, fandom, umpiring and having fun with North America’s Number 1 pastime!

It was an off weekend last week as we celebrated Father’s Day but tomorrow we are back to face our friends and closest rivals the Carn Brea Dynamite! We play on neutral ground in Mawnan Smith, the weather looks like it’s going to be perfect and first pitch is 1:30pm! Let’s play ball! ⚾️

Fantastic day last Sunday as we faced the Falmouth Oystercatchers at home in Mawnan Smith. The OC’s played brilliantly, including a beautiful home run by AJ but the Blue Jays held strong with some outstanding pitching and strong at bats to take the win! Looking forward to a rematch tomorrow in Tregony - First pitch 1:30pm!

Amazing game at Illogan last Sunday! The Rebels played brilliantly but we were able to pull together and hold on to the win! Next up are the Falmouth Oystercatchers at their home field in Mawnan Smith on Sunday 7th - First pitch 10am ⚾️☀️

We had a fantastic day of baseball in our first home game of the season at Boscawen park against the Roseland Rebels on Sunday 10th May!

The Rebels pushed us to our limits and were chasing us for the whole game - it was so very close and a testament to how far they have come as a team

Lucky for us, we were able to pull together and give it our all to get the tying run out on their way to home to win the game!

Amazing game all around and we now look forward to meeting the Carn Brea Dynamite at their home field in Illogan this Sunday.

The Dynamite are currently top of the league so we will be chasing them down for a win to tie things up this Sunday! Fingers crossed the weather plays ball!
