Caelan was outstanding today, putting in a brilliant performance and contributing with three goals, including a fantastic free kick, as Spartans completed an incredible comeback from 1–3 down to win 6–3! 👏🔥

Captain Parker was equally impressive, leading from the front and scoring a hat-trick to help turn the game around. 🎩⚽

A fantastic achievement for both boys and a well-deserved recognition of their performances! 👏

🏆 Scottish Cup – Round 1

⚽ Spartans 6–3 Kilwinning Rangers

What a game! What a comeback! SPARTANS ARE THROUGH TO ROUND 2! 🎉🏆

Spartans found themselves behind after just 8 minutes when Kilwinning Rangers capitalised on a mistake to find the back of the net and make it 0–1.

Spartans battled hard, with Junior producing an excellent save off the line to keep us in the game. Kilwinning continued to push, however, and soon found another to make it 0–2.

Spartans then kicked it up a level and started putting the pressure on. Caelan was brought down inside the box, earning Spartans a penalty. Captain Parker stepped up and confidently found the back of the net to pull one back — 1–2! 🔥

The game continued at a frantic pace. Kilwinning broke forward and it looked like Q had made another fantastic save off the line, but following the referee’s decision, the goal was awarded, making it 1–3.

Spartans refused to let their heads drop and continued to fight for a way back into the game. The pressure eventually paid off when Alan was fouled, giving Spartans a free kick. Captain Parker stepped up once again and delivered, making it 2–3! ⚽🔥

HALF TIME

Spartans 2–3 Kilwinning Rangers

Spartans came flying out of the blocks in the second half and were determined to turn the game around.

Captain Parker completed his hat-trick to bring the scores level at 3–3! 🎩⚽

Spartans didn’t stop there. Caelan found the back of the net to put Spartans ahead for the first time — 4–3! 🙌

The pressure continued to build, and after another foul by Kilwinning, Spartans were awarded a free kick. This time Caelan stepped up, delivering an excellent free kick that found the back of the net to make it 5–3! 🚀

And Spartans weren’t finished!

Caelan completed his own hat-trick, finding another goal to make it 6–3 and put the game beyond doubt! ⚽🔥

From 0–2 down, then 1–3 down, to fighting all the way back and finishing 6–3 winners — what an incredible performance from the boys! 💪

Every player showed fight, determination, belief and character to turn the game around.
