Hi parents, just wanted to take a moment to say how proud I am of everyone this season. From the very first game until now, I personally have seen so much progression across the whole team and that’s something every single player should be proud of.
One of the biggest positives this season has been the development of every individual. Everyone has worked hard to improve on their weaknesses, whether that’s confidence, fitness, communication, positioning, decision making, or even overall consistency. The effort the lads have put in during training and matches has really shown and it’s been great to watch players grow in both ability and mindset throughout the season.
Another massive positive is how well we came together as a team, especially with new players joining throughout the year. Bringing in new players can sometimes take time to adjust, but everyone welcomed each other well and we still managed to build a strong chemistry on and off the pitch. No matter what team we played, we always competed together, supported each other, and played as a team every single match.
There were definitely challenges along the way, but the attitude and commitment from the squad never changed. Every game we showed determination, resilience, and togetherness, and that’s something that can’t always be measured by results alone. The team spirit this season has been brilliant, and it’s clear how much potential this group has moving forward.
I will be looking to move the team to division 4 next season as we need a challenge for every player to progress.
Thank you to everyone for the hard work, effort, and commitment throughout the season. It’s been a pleasure being part of this team, and I’m excited to see how much more we can achieve together in the future. Well done boys and thank you for your massive support parents.
