The newly reformed Treeton Terriers were back in action for a friendly match and put in a fantastic team performance, showing plenty of energy, teamwork and quality across the pitch.
The Terriers were impressive going forward, scoring seven goals in an exciting display. Lenny led the way with a superb hat-trick, while Jayden added two well-taken goals. Danny and Rodrigo also got themselves on the scoresheet to complete an excellent attacking performance.
At the other end, Sonny and Isaac both played their part in goal, producing some lovely saves to keep the opposition at bay. Their confident performances gave the team a strong foundation and showed the brilliant effort being put in across the whole squad.
It was a very encouraging performance from the newly reformed Terriers, with every player contributing and working hard for one another. There were plenty of positives to take from the friendly, and the team can look forward to the season with confidence.

The boys put in a fantastic team performance, showing great determination, teamwork, and effort from start to finish.
Sonny was outstanding in goal throughout the match. He made several excellent saves, including a fingertip stop and an incredible save where he leapt high to punch the ball clear and protect his net. He also confidently caught the ball and held onto it under pressure. Despite facing a penalty after a handball decision, Sonny remained focused and continued to make important saves for his team.
The opening goal came from some brilliant teamwork. Royal played the ball to Lenny, who then found Mitchell, and Mitch calmly finished into the net. A huge kick from Sonny later travelled beyond halfway and found Royal's feet, helping launch another attack.
Lenny was influential throughout the game. He saw a free kick drift just wide before later delivering another dangerous free kick to Shep. Lenny then struck a powerful effort that hit the post and bounced into the net, adding another goal to the team's tally. He also added another goal later in the match with a confident finish.
Shep worked tirelessly and was unlucky not to score earlier when his inventive overhead-style effort lacked just enough power. His persistence paid off when he found the back of the net later in the game. A brilliant run down the wing involving both Mitchell and Shep nearly resulted in another goal, with Shep narrowly missing the target.
Mitchell was a constant threat going forward. After scoring from the opening move, he added further goals and impressed with his energetic running and attacking play throughout the match.
At the back, Danny was immense. He organised his teammates by encouraging everyone to mark up, made several strong tackles, and bravely won the ball when surrounded by two opposition players. His defensive performance helped keep the team solid throughout.
Cal also played an important role, making a crucial stop to prevent the ball from crossing the line. He showed great determination when tackling an opponent and was unlucky not to score when the ball came off the goalkeeper's back after his challenge.
Rodrigo produced an excellent all-round display. He never stopped running, communicated brilliantly with his teammates, won possession strongly, and delivered some excellent kicks. One powerful strike narrowly missed the goal.
Overall, it was a brilliant team performance full of effort, skill, teamwork, and determination. Every player contributed, and the boys should be very proud of their performance.

Treeton started the game on the front foot, attacking non stop, couldn't really get the rythm going, attack after attack but Treeton just didn't have luck on our side, chances came for Mitch, Rodrigo, Sonny and Lenny, who tested the keeper with good efforts on goal. Oliver was solid when needed some good saves and distribution. Rodrigo was influential once again the game, showing great composure on the ball relentless runs and constantly hounding the opposition and winning the ball back. Lenny was heavily involved in attack, creating opportunities and linking up well with his teammates. Lenny had some good shots at goal. Second half and everything seemed to click, passing, possession and bucket load of chances came, but with some bad luck and great save from the opposition goal keeper, Treeton really put them under the cosh. Across the pitch, there were strong individual performances in the second. Royal and Danny were rocks at the back,. stopping attacks and start them off with some really good passing. Rodrigo and Mitchell never stopped winning the ball back high and some really good dribbles and passing, creating many chances and having some good shots at goal. Lenny bossed them middle of the park using his strength brilliantly throughout the match, winning the ball back on numerous occasions and creating opportunities for Treeton to attack. Sonny battled hard, got stuck in well, and showed great determination in winning the ball back and created chances for his teammates. Treeton came close on several occasions. Lenny, Rodrigo and Mitchell were unlucky with a host of chances went wide and was brilliantly saved by the keeper, then finally it came after another Treeton attack a penalty was awarded up stepped Lenny and smashed it home. Final minutes of the game the team continued to press forward, creating opportunities. On another day, it would be a different story.

Our u11's saw their 2nd friendly game today.
The boys started brightly, enjoying plenty of possession and moving the ball around well. Early chances came for both Shep and Lenny, who tested the opposition with good efforts on goal.
Rodrigo was influential throughout the game, showing great composure on the ball. He won a free kick in a dangerous area and repeatedly demonstrated excellent control, holding off challenges before finding teammates with accurate passes. One of his best moments came when he stood strong under pressure, retained possession, and played Mitch into space.
Lenny was heavily involved in attack, creating opportunities and linking up well with his teammates. A particularly good move saw him win the ball, pass to Mitch, and then watch as the resulting effort drifted just wide of the post. Later, Lenny combined nicely with Callum, who then found Mitch as Treeton pushed forward towards goal.
The team's goalkeeper played an important role, constantly communicating with teammates and helping everyone stay organised. He also produced a brilliant save, gathering the ball safely with both hands when the opposition threatened. Later in the game, another effort came straight to Treeton's second goalkeeper, who dealt with it confidently.
Across the pitch, there were strong individual performances. Royal used his body well to shield the ball and keep possession. He also used his strength brilliantly throughout the match, winning the ball back on numerous occasions and creating opportunities for Treeton to attack. Sonny battled hard, got stuck in well, and showed great determination in every challenge. Danny worked tirelessly in defence, linking play effectively and delivering some excellent long passes.
Callum put in a shift, battling against two opponents at once while keeping the ball under control. He helped launch attacks with a powerful clearance down the field.
Treeton came close on several occasions. Shep was unlucky when one strike hit the post, but he wouldn't be denied for long. Later, he unleashed another shot that struck the crossbar and bounced into the net to give Treeton a well-deserved goal.
There were more chances for Lenny and the team continued to press forward, creating opportunities throughout the game.
On another day, Treeton could easily have taken the lead much earlier.

A fantastic team performance from our U11s saw them play with energy, determination and quality throughout the game.
After an early chance for Callum and some strong defending from Shep, the breakthrough came from a clever free-kick routine. Mitch played the ball to Shep, who finished well to open the scoring.
Lenny doubled the lead after winning possession from a Treeton kick-in and calmly lifting the ball over the goalkeeper.

Kody worked hard down the wing, linking up brilliantly with Shep and making several dangerous runs. He created problems for the opposition defence all game and was unlucky not to get himself on the scoresheet after a couple of good chances.
The goalkeeper played an important role with excellent distribution and a number of impressive saves, helping the team keep a clean sheet. Danny was outstanding at the back in the first half, winning tackles and defending solidly throughout. In the second half, he moved to right wing where he made some excellent runs down the line and delivered several dangerous passes into the box.
The second half started brightly with Mitch scoring after a well-worked move involving the goalkeeper, Callum and Royal. Lenny then grabbed his second goal after a good pass from Sonny.
Royal also had a strong game, using his strength well to shield the ball and maintain possession, helping the team build attacks and control play.

The keeper continued to impress with another fine save, while Sonny almost added another goal with the last kick of the game, striking the crossbar.
A brilliant all-round performance with great teamwork, effort and some excellent football on display.
