A tough result for the lads, with Rhymney Rovers FC falling to a 9–0 defeat against a very strong Blackwood Town.

The lads battled hard and with 40 minutes gone the score was still 0-0.
Not the result we wanted, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game. We will regroup and come back stronger. 💪🖤💛

Full Time | Rhymney Rovers FC 0–7 Fleur de Lys FC

A tough afternoon in our first ever league match, but full credit to Fleur de Lys, who showed why they're such a strong side. They played some excellent football and deserved the result.

While the scoreline wasn't what we wanted, there were plenty of positives for us to take away. As a brand-new team, this was an important learning experience, and we'll use it to grow stronger together.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support us. We'll keep working hard, stick together, and be ready to bounce back next week. 💛🖤⚽

Join us as we take on Fleur de Lys with a 2:00pm kick-off. After months of hard work and preparation, the team is ready to give everything on the pitch, and we'd love your support from the sidelines.
