Towcester Leisure Centre is at the heart of the community in Towcester. And if you want to relax you can make use of our bath spa.

Our state-of-the-art gym, group exercise classes, 25m swimming pool and sports hall are the perfect place to workout. Towcester Leisure Centre has recently undergone an extensive gym refurb offering brand new state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment. Further development of the centre includes a new multi purpose studio, ‘STUDIO+’ this space is perfect for smaller group fitness classes as wel

l as providing the community with a meeting space. We run a variety of group exercise classes suitable for all levels and abilities across our 3 studios. Included in our project of refurbishment works are new pool changing facilities. The centre also offers a range of activities and boasts two 3G all weather 5 aside pitches, 4 court sports hall and so much more.

💙 It’s Drowning Prevention Week! 💙
Can your child tick off all four essential swimming safety skills? Swimming isn’t just fun—it’s a life-saving competency. Before they pause their lessons, make sure they have achieved these vital milestones:
🌟 Float to Live – Can they confidently float like a star on their back?
⏱️ Tread Water – Can they keep themselves upright and afloat for at least 30 seconds?
👕 Swim in Clothes – Can they navigate the water while wearing their normal clothes?
🏊 Swim 100m – Do they have the stamina to swim 100 meters without stopping?
Don’t stop their swimming lessons until these minimum safety standards are achieved. Give your child the skills they need to stay safe around water this summer! ☀️

We got one of our awesome members to test out this week’s circuit, and let’s just say… it’s intense but highly effective! This routine is perfect for hitting your endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and resistance training all in one quick shot.

Think you can handle it? Check out the breakdown below:
📝 The Lineup:
Perform 3 Rounds total. Rest for 1 minute between each exercise!
🔥 TRX Push-Ups – 10 Reps
📉 Decline Sit-Ups – 10 Reps

Wear clothes to swimming lessons this week! 🏊‍♂️👕

This (June 13 - 20), we are making water safety the heart of our swimming lessons!

We’re encouraging all our learn-to-swim members to wear T-shirts and shorts to their lessons. Swimming in clothing allows members to experience what it feels like to be in the water while fully clothed, a vital skill for building confidence and understanding safety in unexpected scenarios.
