The Elephant and Castle is pleased to announce the signing of Harry Noons on a free transfer. Harry joins after leaving BTC, who won division 6 and a cup last season.

Manager Comments: ‘All summer we have been looking to strengthen the team defensively, and when this opportunity came up, it was a no brainer. Harry brings a wealth of experience and has that winners mentality. I am looking forward to seeing him in an ele shirt🐘🏰’

Good to get some minutes in the tank with a controlled performance against a side from the division above. Great to see some of the work we’ve been putting in at training starting to translate onto the pitch.

Still plenty to work on, but a positive start and a clean sheet to go with it.

MOTM is shared today. Hayden, with his first clean sheet in an ele shirt and a top-class save in the first half, and Davi, who put in a quality performance and controlled our attacking play.

MOTM today was Jamie, an engine all season and finally getting the credit he deserves, was everywhere today and fully deserved.
