Develop an attitude of patient non-judgmental openness and curiosity π€
During this winter I will be sharing a mix of insights, tools and strategies to help you strengthen your inner game!
Before I share in future posts some helpful practices you can try out I wanted to address the important matter of how to approach the whole subject of learning be it learning how to master your mind or indeed learning anything in life!
I have worked with thousands of clients over the years and there is no question that those that progress the fastest have the right attitude towards learning - namely rather than being impatient and quick to judge their progress or lack of progress those that do best invariably possess an attitude of patient openness and curiosity.
Basically you need to approach learning without sabotaging your progress by giving yourself a hard time!!!
Be like a young child full of wonder and curiosity...even if your mind says this won't work or I've done this before or that's far too difficult or I haven't got time to...etc..etc.. take a breath and give it a chance....keep curious...give everything a go....and don't bring in time pressure to proceedings.....take your time...enjoy the journey and be open to experiencing breakthroughs at any moment....be playful...engage....and enjoy the experience of learning!
In learning there will be easy sunny times and also tougher rainy times.....if you remember to step back and accept that's just how it is maybe you'll be blessed with a rainbow or two?!π
