TAC athletes were out and about across the county over the bank holiday weekend...

Kevin and Scott were repping the yellow at the Lustleigh 10k, a hilly course, down muddy tracks and through beautiful woodland in times of 48.40 and 58.17, respectively. 🏃💛

Anthony took on the equally hilly Dartmouth Regatta Road Race. A 5.1 miles course starting at the Boatfloat up, up and up through Redcross and Little Dartmouth before heading back down to the Boatfloat. Anthony crossed the line in a very decent time of 42.11. 🏅

Meanwhile, a small group of us combined a camping trip with an 11-mile social run on Dartmoor, hitting no fewer than 11 tors! And let's just say...the weather had opinions! 🤣🌦️

PBs at the Torbay Twilight 10K! 🌙🏃‍♂️💛❤️

A fantastic evening for two of our TAC runners at last night’s Torbay Twilight 10K at Torbay Velopark.

👏 Simon Dossett — 49th place in 42:13
👏 Pete Henderson — 52nd place in 42:38

And the best bit… PBs for both! 🔥🙌

It’s certainly been a busy weekend for our athletes, with parkruns, 10Ks, half marathons… and our amazing Hayley taking on outeredge_events Dartmoor Crossing! 💛❤️

A stunning 33.5-mile run on a beautifully marked course from Belstone to Ivybridge, featuring breathtaking views, friendly marshals and runners, and well-stocked food stops. It all added up to a fantastic day on the moor, and Hayley loved every minute of it.

She completed the course in an impressive 7:37:00, finishing as 2nd V55 and 23rd female overall.

Now her ultra appetite has been whetted, we can’t wait to see what challenge she takes on next! 🏃‍♀️⛰️

Six of our adult runners were out in force at the Totnes 10k on Sunday, proudly pulling on the yellow and red. 💛❤️

A brilliant effort from all six in very hot conditions, tackling the 10k (actually nearly 11k!) course and enjoying another great day of running, racing and club camaraderie. 👏🏼

It’s always great to see the TAC vest out there and our members supporting each other both on and off the course.

Well done team and thanks to for hosting another great event 👏🏼🏅💛❤️

Country lanes, trail sections, rolling hills… and a sun that clearly hadn’t read the race briefing. 🥵

TAC runner, Nick Robinson crossed the line of the Indian Queens Half Marathon in 1:54:39 (236th of 605). Not the time he’d hoped for, but in the heat, it was a victory simply for not melting into a puddle somewhere around mile 8!

Some days it’s about chasing a PB. Other days it’s about surviving, smiling (eventually), and earning that medal 🎖️ 😅

Well done Nick, perhaps an ice bath recovery? 🤔💛

Seven TAC adult athletes took part in Winding Path’s Summer Canal Canter today. The route heads along the picturesque Grand Western Canal, before turning and heading back to the finish at the Canal Basin. Runners were rewarded with a fabulous medal to commemorate a great (albeit hot) run 😎💛❤️

🍎🍏 The Cider Challenge! 🍏🍎

Torbay AAC adult runners headed to Myncen Farm near Blandford Forum in Dorset for the brilliant Cider Challenge, hosted by Running Events Devon - and what a weekend it was! 💛❤️

A beautiful 5k course, sunshine, plenty of heat, brilliant support, fantastic organisation and a fabulous aid station made for a great day of running. Despite a couple of injuries along the way, we managed an impressive 196 miles between us! 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

But, as always, one of the best things about running is the people. It was fantastic to meet so many new friends and enjoy the amazing running community spirit throughout the weekend. 🤝

And then there was Saturday evening… a disco, glitter, tunes, pizza and of course, cider! 🪩✨🍕🍎

A huge well done to everyone who took part, and a massive thank you to and for such a brilliant event. 💛❤️
