In Loving Memory of our Sensei Paul Madden
A chapter has closed for the martial arts community with the passing of Sensei Paul Madden, one of the finest to ever don a Gi.
An "old school" Master in the truest sense, Paul taught by example. While he was remarkably humble and unassuming in daily life, those at the receiving end of his techniques were left in no doubt of his immense skill and power.
His journey was defined by years of grit and dedication, earning his ranks on pure merit under the watchful eyes of Tatsuo Suzuki and other legendary masters. He carried that lineage with pride, passing his knowledge to generations of students over a long and distinguished career.
Whether working with adults or children, Paul had a wonderful way of connecting. He led with understanding, helpfulness, and a trademark smile that made everyone feel welcome on the mats.
He leaves behind a legacy of discipline, kindness, and mastery. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honour of training under him.

Permite una educación motora completa, reforzando todas sus posibilidades educativas y psicomotoras (espacio / tiempo, propioceptividad, lateralidad, lanzar, tirar, empujar, arrastrar, saltar, rodar, caer, coordinar, estimular la relación con otras personas SOCIALIZACIÓN, utilizando del juego y la lucha como un suplemento de la motricidad y con la introducción de la técnica y táctica deportiva, además de buscar una aptitud general ideal.

El CIO (Comité Olímpico Internacional) lo considera uno de los deportes más completos y que promueve los valores de la amistad, participación, respeto y esfuerzo para mejorar.

Karate class will commence from Wed 6th Oct in Ballynease Hall . Class starts at 7.00pm finishing at 9.00pm .All age groups from 6 years old and up are very welcome. Beginners and primary school pupils can leave at 8.00pm. Admission adults £5 and school children under 16 years of age £3 per night. Looking forward to everyone training again.

Hello all just putting the feelers out to see if we have enough interest , I’m proposing to start the Karate class in Ballyneese hall again in October . I am holding a meeting in the hall on Wed 29th September at 8.00 pm for those interested in practicing again . Please come along to discuss times and membership etc. Look forward to seeing everyone.
