Lin Yu‑Mao, a Taiwanese aged 104, holds the Guinness record as the world's oldest active badminton player. Since taking up badminton at 50, he amassed 38 straight father‑son titles, returned for his 40th World Morning Cup at 102, and recently teamed with Olympic champion Lee Yang to win an exhibition match at the 2025 Masters Games—serving as both torchbearer and inspiration, demonstrating that passion and perseverance truly defy age.
