HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?

Time.. it takes time!

But with the right tools to help you along your way you can & will smash your goals.

🐝 Start slowly - give yourself adequate rest days & listen to your body.

🐝 Set yourself goals - by setting goals it gives you a specific target in mind. Goals will also motivate you along the way.

🐝 Take a look at your long term plan - this helps you avoid failing back into bad habits, once one goal has been achieved move onto the next !

🐝 Be consistent - consistency is key in keeping on moving forwards!

With the New Year coming in fast, get yourself set up with what you want to achieve !

IMPLEMENTING PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD INTO YOUR TRAINING

What is progressive overload ?

Progressive overload is when you gradually increase the weight, intensity or repetitions within your training programme.
As a result of this overtime your body adapts to the extra stress it’s been put under and you get stronger.

Here are some ways to progressive overload;

✅ LIFT MORE WEIGHT
As you get stronger, increase the resistance.

✅ INCREASE REPS
By increasing the repetitions you are putting more demand on your muscles.

✅ TIME UNDER TENSION
You can switch up tempos in your training.

✅ KEEP INCREASING THAT WEIGHT WHEN YOU CAN
Keep on overloading those muscles!! You’ll be surprised, you are a lot stronger than you think.

These two pictures are 18 months apart.

Tilly came to me wanting to lose weight and change her lifestyle.

We started off with a calorie deficit, taking a look into her diet and implementing more movement into her days.

Tilly quickly fell in love with training and the results are speaking for themselves !!

There was no restriction, Tilly still goes out at the weekend and enjoys the foods she loves 🥂

Tilly has:

🍉Been sleeping better and has more energy
🍉More body confidence
🍉Grown to love meal prepping to stay on track when working
🍉Come to love the new lifestyle she has created

It’s impossible to eat clean 100% of the time.

We go out, we have family events, birthdays, holidays and especially with Christmas coming up we will be surrounded by more social events and more yummy food.

So what is the 80/20 rule ?

For 80% of the time prioritise eating clean whole foods and for the remaining 20% relax and enjoy your favourite foods🍭

By using this method within your week it will cut out any restriction and you will stay more on track in the long run!

✔️ Enjoy your workouts
✔️ Eat nutritions foods that make you feel good
✔️ Get adequate sleep
✔️ Get those steps in each day
✔️ Stretch
✔️ Drink your water
✔️ Practice self care
✔️ … most importantly, look after yourself⭐️
