Over the past few years, we’ve put in a huge amount of work behind the scenes to bring our sites up to date and make our facilities more sustainable.

These improvements are already in place and continuing to make a positive impact every day:

🔹 Ground source heat pumps
🔹 Air source heat pumps
🔹 Solar PV panels
🔹 LED floodlighting across outdoor pitches and courts
🔹 Pools running on 100% renewable electricity

Congratulations to father and daughter, Mark and Bethany Wright who raised over £3000 for British Heart Foundation.

You may recall in April, Mark took on the mammoth challenge of 500 reps of 52kg in an hour of which he actually achieved 620! Bethany also ran the London Marathon in 4 hours and 41 minutes. An incredible achievement from the duo. They would both like to thank everyone who donated and for the support they received along the way.

We’re delighted to see our new Pool Pods at Active Tiverton - Exe Valley and Active Crediton - Lords Meadow already making a positive impact. 😊

Since their installation in February, the Pool Pods have been helping more people access swimming safely, comfortably and with greater independence, with plenty of positive feedback.

We're proud to be participating in Drowning Prevention Week 2026, 13-20 June, the annual water safety campaign led by Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK. 🛟

This important initiative helps raise awareness of water safety and aims to reduce the risk of accidental drowning. Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing helpful advice, safety tips, and information to encourage everyone to stay safe around water. 🌊

It’s a cause that matters to us and our community, so keep your eyes peeled for updates, activities, and ways to get involved. 👀
