If you are feeling a little tired and achy post marathon - this is just a little stretch and mobility sequence.❤️ move as much or as little as you need! Remember you ran a marathon a couple of days ago - and you are totally amazing!!! 🏅🥇🏅

I will record another video later this week with a more stretches and movement 😜 to help get the body moving again.

So much to say … where do I start! Left Cambridge at 6:15am and we were in Gail’s Bakery at Blackheath by 8am! Not bad 😜...

So much to say … where do I start!

Left Cambridge at 6:15am and we were in Gail’s Bakery at Blackheath by 8am! Not bad 😜

Straight to the start to see the guys - last min chats, photos, race plans and to calm a few nerves (and that’s just me - not sure if I was super excited or nervous and I wasn’t even running!!)

Then it was a brisk walk over to 10km point and set up as planned - Drinks and gels handed over perfectly! Did end up waving a yellow vest too for good measure 😂. One down 1 to go.✅

Managed to also see at 10km- looking strong and smiling

Then it was walk over to 25km. Thankfully Andy is well versed in routes, where to go, where to stand etc - even after all these years, I just follow!

Managed to see everyone still looking strong - and drinks /gels passed over seamlessly (phew- breathed a secret sigh of relief)✅

Slight breather on DLR.. meant to then get the tube - but the crowds couldn’t get near anything, so ended up running from Tower Bridge to the finish so we could get there in time 😂😂! Note to self - I can’t run, wear reading glasses and send messages! (One the perks of perimenopause) So it was a case of pe***ng it. Thankfully OJ and Maddie were at the Finish ready in case my legs couldn’t go fast enough 😂

We know Holls loves photos and chats… so we made it before she came out 😂- but OMG what a bloody run, what a time, - 2:33!! Who knows what she is actually EVER capable of 💗🫅- let this inspire you. Never settle or put a limit on your capabilities! 🏹

Awesome runs from James and Libby. Heat is not Libs friend on marathon day, so super proud of her and as always she never stopped smiling 💗

What a day - so many people, so many charities, so many inspiring stories - London never fails to be amazing!

Needless to say when we got in, i was straight in my pj’s and Andy went out for a 14 mile run! No idea who the elite athlete is in our house 😂

Weather was so nice - decided to do some of my rehab & strength work outside!

Having an injury is humbling and literally stops you! Am finding one of the hardest things is “less is more”! I bloody love a goblet squat, weighted lunge or dare I say it a burpee😜… But this week is all about gentle movement!

I will be doing a “return to running” programme and then a period of easy running just to build back up my base fitness so i’ll record it - and if you’re recovering from injury/ needing tips when starting to run, I hope it helps you too - feel free to message and let me know how it goes 😜x
