This is the current training set up as I aspire to get on stage at some point in the future with more muscle

And we repeat

I spent 7-8 weeks completely off enhancement before reintroducing, the physique very much represents where my body and mind was; there’s such a huge link between physique and headspace and something many don’t link.
If stress is high, psychologically, the body will reflect that but also if there’s internal stress in terms of an unhappy body, it’s also not going to look great.

I’m not very good at the whole BB thing, I have no genetic strengths but I love it. It adds purpose and direction. And makes me work even harder knowing I need to work V hard just to be average on stage.
And I’m ok with that.

A physique I’m happy with is one that makes it through more challenging times just as much as it thrives in “easier” times

Please don’t forget that next time you consider giving up

I’ll never believe that people wouldn’t like some sort of physical gain from the gym even if it’s not the primary reason they go.

But you have no proof that you can get that return.

So you lack confidence in your ability in there.

As Thom Sykes | TS Health&Fitness | Thrive told me; every body can do it but not everybody can do it.

You’re capable of achieving every single thing you put your mind to and work towards. But until your mindset is right, you won’t have it.

Your mindset can be built like muscle, I have clients from a wide variety of backgrounds with a wide variety of skills and strengths, some of them were absolutely terrified going into the gym for the first time, and the second time. Now they’re getting incredibly strong. Some built gyms in their back garden and some started eating more food than they’ve eaten in months.

But every single one of the clients who are progressing have had to accept discomfort and be challenged on their confidence level in order to build undeniable proof that they are who they say they want to be

Learning how to do what needs done, why we do it and then realising the benefits to doing what we do over here outweighs spending years doing the wrong thing.

Your coach is meant to challenge your thinking and push you where you otherwise wouldn’t.

I’ll say it time and time again, the mental progress here runs deeper than the physical. What I’ve seen from Craig and his progress to a more confident man is a reminder as to why I do this.
You don’t need someone to pander to you, you’re unhappy, tired, sore because of your habits, your coach is here to get you to a place where you’re thriving. That’ll involve some discomfort.

Having someone in your corner who cares enough to push you isn’t something to be taken lightly, I’m not here to make you feel small but to shine a light on your capabilities

Sunday thoughts to motivate and challenge ahead of a new week 💭

Having been the dude who has struggled with anxiety and self confidence I know what it’s like to feel like you don’t quite fit in with the norm but not quite knowing where you do fit in.
All through high school and into my 20s I was the skinny dude who went to the gym and ate but couldn’t grow. I was doing what the bigger dudes were doing

I knew what I wanted and how I wanted to look

I was sure I was doing what I needed to

Why wasn’t it working!?

I doubted
I chopped and changed

I couldn’t separate what was right for me vs what wasn’t nor did I realise that ultimately, everything works if you commit to it wholeheartedly, and work hard enough, for long enough.

I’m building people who back themselves and achieve things they’d never thought they could, what do you struggle with?

Nutrition is so individualistic so copying your favourite influencer’s morning supplement routine or meal plan is probably going to come with some drawbacks

If you’re getting the basics nailed down like ensuring you have a wide variety of fruits and veggies in your diet every day, are spreading your protein out, are cooking your own meals, don’t fear carbs and are getting hydrated most of you are going to be fine if you run with it for a long time

It becomes an issue when you look at symptoms you’re dealing with or enjoyment.
One man’s low fat intake is another man’s hormonal nightmare, high protein for you is digestion issues for the next person

It can’t be 1 size fits all

And I don’t do cookie cutter programming. So get in touch and let me help
