This time yesterday we were kicking off at the Crosshouse Community FC Jim Moffat memorial festival ⚽️,
Thanks so much for having us 🤝🏻

We had 5x goals galore matches against the hosts,Irvine Meadow Youth 2017,Auchinleck Talbot 2017s,St Convals 2017s & Galston Youth Football Club 2017.
Some excellent football on show from all 👏🏻

Our boys started slow but once they found that scoring touch,the goals were flowing.including 2x hat tricks from Mitchell.

Our player of the day went to Rhys,the way he carries the ball forward is a joy to watch,pitching in with goals & helping in defence.
Well done buddy 🏆

Shout out to young Jack from Morton Thistle Juniors 2020 who was our biggest fan,
Cheering on his big bro & the lads 😊

Sadly Miles day was cut short after suffering an off field injury 🤕,
We all wish him a speedy recovery.

🏆 May Player of the month 🏆

Introducing Thomas,
A big Morton Thistle & Newcastle Utd fan.

May was a busy month for our boys but Thomas showed superb commitment to his team.
On the training ground & at matches he consistently performs at a super high level.
Doing the dirty work in defence but also having the skill & ability to drive forward,pitching in with some brilliant goals ⚽️

Today we headed up the road to Cumnock for the Eric Bennett festival of football.

Always such a well run event,
Thanks for having us 👍🏻

We had some tough matches against Auchinleck Talbot 2017s,Cumnock Juniors 2017’s,Kilbirnie Ladeside 2017’s ,Lochryan & Craigmark.
Well played all 👏🏻

Our boys found it hard going to begin with but regrouped,finding their scoring touch.
As always conducting themselves in the best manner & enjoying their football.

Our Player of the Day was Calum,
Working hard in midfield & Defence.
And showing some good footwork before finishing off a lovely goal ⚽️

Instead of training last night we had some friendly matches organised by our pals Morton Thistle Juniors 2016s 🤝🏻

Morton Thistle Juniors Girls & Queen of the South Community Trust x2 were also in attendance,
Thanks for the games 👍🏻

The boys started strong & once again did themselves proud in the sunshine 🌞
This was the ideal warm up for the Eric Bennett festival in Cumnock on Saturday….bring it on 💪🏻

Special mention to Finley H who made his Morton debut,collecting his 1st appearance medal with a massive smile on his face 😊

Today we were off to Moffat for some friendlies hosted by Upper Annandale FC - Juniors
Thanks for having us 🤝🏻

We played 9 matches 🥵
Against the hosts,Heston Rovers Football Club 2017's,Annan Athletic Community Football,Queen of the South Community Trust,Dalbeattie Star Youth Football Club & Biggar United,
Thanks for the games ⚽️

The boys continued their good form,starting on the front foot in every match.defensively solid and looked dangerous every time they went forward.scoring some cracking goals ⚽️

Thanks to Jamie F for playing in goals today,keeping 4 clean sheets & making some brilliant saves 🧤

Also thanks to Morton Thistle Juniors 2018s Ellis & Robbie.
They stepped up to help us out,both players shining & getting on the score sheet.
Well done all 👏🏻

This morning we were in Dumfries for an early start at the Heston Rovers Football Club annual festival.
Thanks so much for having us 🤝🏻

This is one we look forward to every year,a chance for our boys to show what they can do against some unfamiliar opponents.

And WOW…they did not disappoint!
Unbeaten today across 5 tough matches 💪🏻
Defending was on point,passing the ball from back to front,dominating possession & scoring some great goals…Superb 👏🏻

Calum went home with not 1,2 or 3…but 4️⃣ fair play awards 😎
Albie collected the other one 🫶🏻

Tommy was our Player of the day.
Solid at the back,driving forward with confidence & never put a foot wrong.scoring 2 screamers in our 1st match ⚽️⚽️.
Well done to all,every player was excellent 👌🏻🏆

This morning it was our turn to host with the assistance of Morton Thistle Juniors 2016s & Morton Thistle Juniors Girls.
Thanks guys 🤝🏻

We had 6 enthralling games against our good friends above ⬆️,Heston Rovers Football Club 2017's (x2),Threave Rovers 2017s & Annan Athletic Community Football.
Thanks so much for travelling to Thornhill 👍🏻

It was midway through the 1st game when our boys woke up & realised it was match day 😴🙈 from then on they were excellent.
showing some strong defensive performances,crisp passing & super goals.
along with bags of heart & desire 💜🩵

Special mention to Finley who bagged his 1st Morton goals today ⚽️⚽️ it’s been coming 👏🏻

Roll on next weekend when we head to the Heston Football festival 🏆

Introducing Calum,
Our very 1st 2017’s POTM.

Calum attended almost every training session last month aswell as both local festivals.
He always gives 100% on the training ground & on match days.
Recently showing great leadership skills and was happy to try out a new position on the pitch.
He’s always helpful,keen to improve,and never stops smiling 😊.
