The best thing about so many of the dancers you see on our competition teams is that they started as complete beginners. No experience. Just a love of dancing and the decision to give it a go. Then they’re dancing on international stages. 🌎✨

In 2025, we took our youngest Pom team all the way to Florida to compete at The Dance Summit. And in 2027, we’ll be taking our Little Ladies U10 Pom team to Florida to💙

This is the beginning of something really special, giving our Shrewsbury athletes the opportunity to take to the stage and experience everything that comes with being part of a competition team…..the friendships, the memories, the confidence, the excitement and, of course, the feeling of competing together as a team. ✨

And now, that honour has a permanent place on our walls. ❤️🐾💙

We’re so proud to unveil our new Cheer Athletics Telford World Stage display, celebrating the incredible athletes from our programme who, over the years, have had the honour of representing England or Great Britain at the ICU World Championships.

Seeing so many names together is a pretty special reminder of the incredible athletes who have come through our programme and gone on to represent their country at the highest level.

Some are still competing. Some have moved on to new chapters. But once you’re part of the CA Telford family, you’re always part of our story. 💙

International Open Lyrical we are levelling up 👀

Our athletes have been putting in the work today with choreography from the incredible Becky Mancini alongside Joe Picter and what a first day it’s been! 🖤

So much hard work, learning, laughs and FUN packed into one day, and we cannot wait to see this routine come together tomorrow. 🥹

One more day. One more step closer. And we’re only just getting started…
