Alter Ego: My name is Chris and I am excited to announce myself to the world as a personal coach and therapist. I currently hold a Level 2 counselling qualification from the CPCAB and i am coming from an elite level sporting background as a player and coach in tennis.

I’m passionate about seeing people discover their true potential and purpose in life and helping people overcome difficult periods in life is a privilege.

Offering high levels of active listening and an empathic and encouraging approach, I aim to help you come to your own conclusions and find your own solutions and where needed provide input I know will add significant value through personal experience.

Part 1/3

Todays guest is Ex British Proffesional Tennis Player Neil Pauffley who won 5 ITF Pro Futures Titles (4 x $10K & 1 x $15K) including his biggest victory of his career winning the AEGON ITF $15K Futures tournament in Tipton, West Midlands. 🏆

Neil reached a career high ATP ranking of 406 back in 2013. 📈

He currently works as a full time tennis coach and works with a wide range of player and ability. He still very much loves his tennis! 🎾

I caught up with Neil to get his insights into what life on the pro tour was like for him and to learn more about Neil’s story and what advice he would give to any aspiring young tennis professionals today.

A fantastic achievement by Tecnifibre player Daniil Medvedev, who beat Novak Djokovic 6-4 6-4, 6-4, to win the 2021 US Open

Doing it the hard way 💪🎾 Last week it became apparent that Nic would be in the main draw of the Kent County Championships Under 12’s due to his recent endeavours. He then told me he wanted to try the Under 14s qualifying and potentially 16s. I’m never a coach to stand in a players way unless I believe it’s not in the players best interests. 3/3 wins in Qualies today sees him with a well earned place in the main draw next week amongst some of the best talents in the county. I could not be more happy for him and a great story of stepping up and earning you’re spot. I’m sure he will learn a lot this coming week.

Overcoming Setbacks 101: Couldn’t be more happy for this young man, his passion for tennis and his overall attitude and desire to improve is faultless. After experiencing many nearly moments in the past and having to learn through painful defeats and listen to me rabble on, he has now overcome the barriers and learned from his mistakes to take down his first meaningful U12 Grade 4 win taking out 5th 2nd and 1st seed (Nationally ranked top 100) en route to victory. Not bad after a prolonged break from competition 💪 Hopefully just the beginning. 🙏

A fantastic start to the Two Weekend Under 11 Nationals Event for the Bromley Tennis Centre boys who occupy 1st 2nd and 3rd so far. On a personal note I couldn’t couldn’t be more chuffed with my player who has found himself in third place leading into the second weekend competing in his very first national level event and collecting 4 wins in the process 👌Hard work, dedication, passion for the sport he loves and an eagerness to listen and improve is what is allowing results such as these. Lots of tennis still to be played and vital experience to be gained.

So chuffed for this little guy, takes home his first real ball u12 event after moving from mini green ball. At first you don’t succeed, try again, and be learning all the time. Onwards and upwards and more work to be done.
