The Dance Company, Teddington TDC is a newly established Dance School, following the world renowned ISTD.

TDC is a newly established dance school based in Isleworth, Middlesex following the world renowned ISTD syllabus. The school came to life in September 2022, and is formerly known as Village School of Dance (1987-2022). Meg grew up dancing at the Village School of Dance since the age of 2, taking part in exams, Shows and also choreographing. Since taking over the dance school in April 2022, Meg has

introduced new and exciting classes to an already successful timetable. Historically the school has offered children the opportunity to take Ballet and Tap Exams regularly and perform in a biennial show. Since Meg has been on board children have also had the chance to compete in dance competitions.

We put some of our youngest TDC dancers in the hot seat and asked them a few questions... but there was one rule: WRONG ANSWERS ONLY 🤪💃

The answers did not disappoint 😂 One dancer confidently informed us that a plié is actually called a “poo cake” 💩🧁🤷‍♀️

Another Acro breakthrough this week! ✨ Dolly achieved her switch back walkover and now has a consistent back walkover too! 🤸‍♀️

Two weeks of hard work... and what a difference! 😮🤩💫

One of our fabulous Mini dancers (Year 1) has been working so hard on improving her leaps and the progress in just two weeks is fantastic! 👏🏻✨

Strong leaps don’t happen overnight, they take strength, technique, determination and lots of practice. We’re so proud of her commitment and can already see the results! 🌟

Our Mini classes run on Saturday mornings from 9:30–11:00am 🎉
