🎉🏆LEAGUE AWARDS 2025 🏆🎉

On Saturday the Breakers hosted this year's League Awards, where all the teams come together and gets to vote for their personal choices for the best players of the season (teams are excluded from voting for their own players obviously!).

It was a fantastic showing for the Breakers this year, with our players taking home a huge number of awards. Congratulations to all of them. It's a fantastic honour to have their skills and achievements acknowledged by their peers. Details are below.

⚾🏆 LEAGUE AWARDS NIGHT 2025 🏆⚾

Just a couple of weeks to go till this year's awards night and the voting forms will be released soon.

Tickets for this year's event are £24 and this will cover a buffet and the price of the awards and venue. Payment details are available from your Team Managers or by contacting the Breakers social media accounts.

If anyone else in your team is interested please forward the details on to them or let them know they can message the club social accounts or email.

Finally as a bit of fun we can put together our own Spotify playlist for the evening. Pick a tune and add it in and be ready to be mocked if it's horrible!.

🌊 CALEDONIA CLASSIC GAME 2 TAKE 2 🌊

After last week's unfortunate weather cancellation hopefully this week the Caledonia Classic continues at the Comets' home at Tollcross Park in Glasgow!

The Breakers might have scored the win in the first game but that doesn't mean the Comet's are going to take it lying down. It's going to be another game of both teams leaving it all out on the field.

First pitch: 2.00pm

🌊 CALEDONIA CLASSIC GAME 1 🌊

The long hot summer of baseball was well and truly over as the typical days of grey and blustery games at Tom Waddell Memorial Field returned for the first game of the Caledonia Classic Final in Tayport. But thankfully the AAA Breakers team brought their own heat.

The Glasgow Comets showed they meant business by taking first blood with an early lead in the first inning. But home runs by Tom Knox (1B) in the second and Aven Fletcher (P) in the fourth brought the score level.

It was in the bottom of the fifth where the Breakers finally found their rhythm, racking up a further 13 runs, three of which were thanks to a career first home run for Don Ng (LF). Two more in the sixth solidified a strong first win in the series.

A big win doesn't mean complacency though, this season has shown you can't assume anything, so it's heads down and getting ready for Game 2 in Glasgow's Tollcross Park next week.
