Announcement!

There will be NO TABLE TENNIS Friday 9th May. This is because the Taverham Players are setting up for their upcoming play.

The following Friday 16th May we will be in the Old Hall, while the play is on.

This Friday 1st May is on as usual.

Last week’s Handicap Cup match results are in…

The A team hosted Wensum Cooks. Taverham started strong and continued so, winning 7-2 and heading through to the next round.

The B team traveled to Wensum to play Originals. Taverham played well, with momentum swinging both ways. Originals won the last two legs to secure a 5-4 victory.

The D team hosted Rosebery Road who were a player down but still just too good for Taverham, winning 6-3.

This week’s league results are in…

Division 2

The B team hosted Returners A who were very strong and managed a 9-1 victory over the B team.

The C team hosted Wensum Kids, winning 6-4, finishing on a high despite facing relegation.

This concludes league matches this season. Well done to everyone who competed this season. Handicap cup matches to follow for some and a well earned rest for others!

Division 2

The A team travelled to county hall to play NCC A. Taverham played well, but NCC A won 6-4 to secure the league title.

The B team hosted Broadland Cougars. On the night, Broadland won 6-4. However, this was corrected to a Taverham win due to a rule reach from Broadland.

The C team hosted SFC B, who managed a convincing 10-0 over the C team.

Division 3

The D team travelled to Rosebery Road who were a player short. Despite good efforts from the D team, RR managed to win 6-4.

This was the A and D team’s last league match of the season.

The A team hosted Wensum Kids and managed a convincing 9-1 victory.

The B team travelled to Swanton 2nd’s where both teams were even in a 5-5 draw. A very key 2 points for the B team.

The C team faced Foxfood F away and came away with an impressive 5-5 draw.

Division 3

The D team hosted Wensum Cooks and won 6-4.

Norwich Junior & Senior Championships 2024/25 season.

If you are interested in entering this seasons Norwich Championships, being held at Catton Grove Primary School, please complete the entry form using this link:

To be eligible to play in this seasons Championships, players must have played in at least three matches in the Norwich League/Cup during the 2024-2025 season.

There is a maximum capacity of 48 entries for the open singles event so make sure you get your entry in fast to avoid missing out. Entry will be on a first come first served basis for this event but players on a negative handicap will take priority over those on a positive handicap (this is due to negative handicaps not being eligible to play the restricted singles).

The deadline to complete this form is Monday 24th March 2025 and all payments must be received by the 24th March to be included in the draw that will take place on Tuesday 25th March 2025.
