TJFL MAJOR CUP ROUND 1 🏆
DBC JUNIORS RANGERS 4-0 AMINGTON DIAMONDS
Rangers final fixture of 2023 saw them take on a confident winning Amington Diamonds side in the Major cup 1st round. A big thank you to Amington Diamonds who managed to get the game on as our pitches were both unavailable. Along with the pitch issues, Rangers were dealt a few blows on the the day with 3 players unavailable due to injuries and commitments and our GK not able to make it till close to the second half. Riley Warren bravely donned the GK gloves and was brilliant until Cam turned up and normal service was resumed in the Rangers goal.
Rangers controlled the game well first half going in 3-0 up thanks to goals from Luca x2 and Harry.
Second half Amington Diamonds pushed us back but Rangers defended well. Although Rangers werent the greatest second half we still created numerous chances and managed to score another from Luca to complete his hat trick and get Rangers 4th.
Full time 4-0 win, we wish Amington Diamonds the best for the rest of the season.
2023 is nearly up and we look forward to 2024. Rangers finish the year top of the league and still in the cups. It's going to be a challenging 2024 to stay there but a challenge we are ready for and will give everything to achieve it.
