Talgarth ran out very close victors over Builth Wells Bowling Club in their last Mid Wales game of the season to be crowned unbeaten league champions and win for the first time since 1978.

On Wednesday 26th of August we welcome Builth Wells Bowling Club to Talgarth in the final game of the Mid Wales League season.

Talgarth are going for a first league title in 48 years and an unbeaten season. All support is welcome!!

A minute’s silence will also be held prior to the match in memory of former member Roy Taylor, who sadly passed away recently.

​A massive thank you to everyone who joined us in Talgarth for our Charity Bowls Match! We had an incredible turnout with 24 teams competing from right across Mid and South Wales—all coming together to support Dementia UK and local dementia support.

We all had a great day at the annual Gerald Rhodes One Day Triples 🙂☀️

Congratulations to Fatty’s Boys who took the trophy and prevailed in a high quality, tightly contested final versus Trefy Ultras 🏆

Well done also to 2 Bowlers & Brian who pipped Swivel’s 3 in the plate final 🍽️

Huge thanks to all the entrants and members who helped on the day/during preparations 🙏

Also a big thanks to St Mary's Bakery who provided the BBQ rolls 🥖🥯

Congratulations to Malcolm Padmore (Talgarth), Mark Jones (Montgomery) & Paul Brown (Harlequins), who were crowned Welsh National PD & VI Mixed Triples Champions yesterday in Llandrindod Wells!

In a thrilling final, they faced Matthew Thorne & Rob Sawyers (Briton Ferry Combine) alongside Chris Spriggs (Havelock Park), with Malcolm, Mark and Paul edging an incredibly close contest 18–17 to claim the Welsh title.

A fantastic final that went right down to the wire.

Not long now til our players are on their way to the Welsh Finals at Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club

Thursday 20th 9.30 am the first games start with the Open Singles Semi Final and PD Pairs Final.

Good luck to all our players on reaching the finals. Some for the first time and some returning to defend their titles.
