Caritas FC was formerly FOX FC and TADCASTER TOWN. In 2013 the club changed its name to Caritas FC, meaning Charity Football Club and struck a new partners

General information
The club was originally born in 2009 as the Fox FC and since then the club has grown a very good reputation on and off the pitch. In 2013 the club fell into difficulties after a number of players and management left and it left the club firmly on its Knee's. The clubs name and logo was re branded to reignite the side and go back to the roots of the club, been firmly a team that supports charity. Since the club formed in 2009, they have raised over £6,000 for charity and they will continue to play football to support local good causes.
