What a brilliant first Fish & Chip Friday at Tadcaster Golf Club! 👏

Today we’ve welcomed two societies, our Ladies Section, members and visitors, all enjoying a proper Friday treat after a day on the course.

And so far… the food is going down a treat! 😋🐟🍟

It’s great to see the clubhouse busy, the tables full and plenty of people enjoying some good food and good company.

A bad round of golf deserves a good plate of fish & chips, right? 😉

And an absolute certified monster. 😮‍💨

The 6th is one of those holes where you stand on the tee and think… right, how exactly am I supposed to make a par here? 😂

A long, dogleg-left Par 5, with the hole climbing uphill towards the green.

There’s plenty to think about off the tee, and even a good drive can leave you with a serious second shot.

So, what’s the play? 🤔

What a fantastic day yesterday hosting the IGEM Charity Golf Day, raising funds in support of St Leonard’s Hospice. 💙⛳

From the moment everyone arrived, it was clear what a brilliant day it was going to be.

A sh***un start, breakfast, a great day out on the course, a two-course meal, charity auction and even a comedian to round things off! 😂

It was fantastic to see so many people coming together, enjoying themselves and, most importantly, raising money for such an important local cause.

We hope the day was everything everyone had hoped for and that a fantastic amount was raised for St Leonard’s Hospice, supporting the incredible work they do for patients and families across our local community. ❤️

It was a real pleasure to host the event here at Tadcaster Golf Club, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part, helped organise the day and contributed to the fundraising.

And, of course, thank you to IGEM and Adam Madgett for choosing Tadcaster Golf Club to host such a special event. We’d be delighted to welcome you all back again in the future!

🌱 THANK A GREENKEEPER DAY 🌱

Today is Thank A Greenkeeper Day, and we wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to the team behind the scenes who work tirelessly to keep Tadcaster Golf Club looking and playing at its best.

A special thank you to Dean, Martin, Mark, Steph, Kathy and David for all your hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the year. From the early mornings to the long days, whatever the weather, your work makes a huge difference to the experience our members, visitors and societies enjoy every time they step onto the course.

To show our appreciation, our chef Paul has treated the team to lunch today as a small thank you for everything they do. 🍽️👏

The work of a greenkeeping team often happens behind the scenes, but it certainly doesn't go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do to keep our course in the great condition it is.

What a fantastic day at Tadcaster Golf Club! ⛳️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Harry’s Charity Golf Day, raising funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity, organised by Amy Gilchrist.

A fantastic 72-player sh***un start got the day underway, followed by a brilliant atmosphere in the clubhouse with an incredible raffle, fantastic auction prizes and a great buffet spread to round off the day.

It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to Tadcaster and play our part in what was clearly a very special day, all in support of an important cause. ❤️

A huge thank you to Amy and everyone involved in organising the event, to all 72 golfers who joined us, and to everyone who donated, entered the raffle or supported the auction.

Most importantly, thank you for choosing Tadcaster Golf Club to host such a fantastic charity event. We hope to welcome you all back again soon!
