Swavesey Badminton Club We are a friendly club with 2 nights a week that welcomes players of a reasonable standard. We have both recreational and league players.

Great result from the mixed team tonight: 8-1 win against Club Dan 3. Well done Mark, Thulsi, Matt, Emma, Shaun and Saher!!

A huge well done to tonight's mixed team: Mark and Thulsi, Simon and Emma, and Jonathan and JJ, after a 6-3 win against David Lloyd. A pleasure to play there, as usual!

A busy week last week for the teams: the mixed team played away at CBA in Cambourne on Tuesday (Mark, Thulsi, Jonathan, Emma, Simon and JJ). Great effort, but unfortunately we lost.
The mens 2 team played away against David Lloyd on Wednesday and sadly lost 6-3. Some great effort put in and games were enjoyed by all (Simon, Dean, Ranjt, Tomos, Lee and Arun).
Mens 1 played away against Club Dan 2 at Waterbeach on Friday and although they played well, lost 7-2 (Mark, Paul, Jonathan, Dean, Ciaran and Josh).
The ladies team played Uni 1 at home on Friday and although some great (and tight) games were played, we ended up losing 5-1 (Janet, Emma, JJ and Saher)

A great effort was made by the ladies team last Monday against St Philips. Some close games were had, although we resulted in a 6-0 loss 🫤 thank you to Thulsi, Janet, JJ and Emma.

A fantastic effort from the Men's 1 on Tuesday evening against CBA in Camborne. An unlucky 5-4 lose but really close games . Well done Mark, Shaun, Jonathan, Simon, Ciaran and Dean.

Another tough match last night for the mixed team against Club Dan 2. We put up a good fight but were beaten 6-3. Scores are improving though!

A really tough first mixed match to the season. A big well done to Mark and Thulsi, Shaun and Emma, and Jonathan and JJ. All played fantastically, but the 8-1 score doesn't really reflect how hard everyone played!
