Starting this Thursday, we’re launching Youth Throwback Thursdays, a weekly look back at our past youth teams, players, and those unforgettable action shots! It’s our way of celebrating the incredible role they’ve played in shaping the club into what it is today.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the Welsh Wrestling tonight – we hope you enjoyed it as much as some of our 1st team did!

Huge thanks to Welsh Wrestling for an unforgettable evening of high-flying fun as part of our 130-year celebrations.

Tomorrow night we'll be back at the marquee celebrating the end of the season with our U11s, U13s, U14s & U15s 🏆

And we’re off…
The first event of Abercrave RFC’s 130-year celebration is officially underway!

Tonight, we open our week of festivities with Soundtrack of My Life — an unforgettable, sellout evening with Adam Jones.

A heartfelt thank you to Alwyn Humphreys, Lucy Morgan and her string quartet, and the Onllwyn Male Voice Choir for joining Adam on stage and making the night even more special.

We’d also like to wish the talented pupils of Ysgol Ystalyfera the best of luck as they compete next week at the Urdd Eisteddfod. While they couldn’t join us tonight due to their own school concert celebrating their recent success, we’ll be cheering them on from Abercrave.

Here’s to a week filled with music, memories, and community spirit. Let’s make it one to remember!

PARKING NOTICE – “Soundtrack of My Life” with Adam Jones
The big day is here, and we’re so excited to welcome over 200 people to the club for an unforgettable evening!

Please note: Parking at the club will be limited due to staff and disabled access. We’re very grateful to the local school for kindly allowing us to use their car park (postcode: SA9 1XD).

Stewards will be on hand to guide you from the school car park to the club.
We kindly ask all attendees to use this parking option where possible and to please respect our neighbours when arriving and leaving.

Our Giants have been busy! They've already smashed their fundraising target, with three months still to go! But the race isn’t over yet… there’s a trophy up for grabs for the team that raises the most by the big day 🏆

Every penny raised supports the new outpatient department for cancer patients at Singleton Hospital, helping to create a more welcoming, calming space for those undergoing treatment.

Huge congratulations to our U8s who finished as runners-up at Brecon Festival yesterday, some brilliant rugby played and lots of smiles all round! The U10s also had a great tournament, battling their way to the final and just falling short, but showing real determination and teamwork.

A massive well done to all the players, coaches, and supporters. It’s weekends like this that show just how strong our Mini and Junior sections are.

The future of the club is in great hands ❤️🖤💛

Huge congratulations to our U14s for winning the Brecon Festival today 🏆

They topped their pool and sealed a 4–3 victory over Tonmawr in a brilliant final. What a way to finish the season!

Well done as well to Ystradgynlais RFC U12s for reaching their final against Brecon. Great to see two local clubs represented in the finals today.

A big thank you to Brecon RFC for hosting such a well-organised and enjoyable tournament, and to all the referees for their time and effort. We’re already looking forward to next year!
