Confident win this evening! 👏👏👏
Kent Seniors, league match against Shepway ‘A’ team.
Very even start with good team play. Nice to see all the players engaging and moving the ball around well and some inventive play. The ever improving Matteo Tosi almost finishing off a great 3 player touch medley, just going over the cross bar.
6-5 after the 2nd quarter.
3rd quarter, we started to look far more confident and instinctively support for fellow team mates shone through, realising a 4 goal lead at the start of the final quarter.
The ‘recent’ signing of ‘Mr’ J. Blything securing 3 very accomplished goals in the last 3 quarters, reinforcing the new signing of Adam Pearson, straight out of Uni, giving well placed strength and support, securing 2 x confident goals too.
The junior Ollie Dawes, with very little match play showed a lot more reserve of what’s to come. His enthusiasm and keenness to learn, inspiring.
The ‘Usual Suspects’ excellent Mr.Jack Waller, Alex Mallinson, ..Alex Mconville 😄and ‘solid’ Matt Haw with the measured experienced calmness of Ed Scott came good in the final quarter, accelerating the Bexley lead by a further 7 goals to 17-8.
Matteo Tosi’s instinctive 2 x super goals in the final quarter definitely require a mention, as does our ever Mr. ‘Safe Hands’ Paul Ashenden in goal, ever commanding & supportive leading from the back.
With this evenings very accomplished success and the ‘4’ goal win over Sevenoaks Monday, things are looking good in the Bexley camp…keep up the good work!⭐️
