Match Report

Outstanding performance from all today, A lively match resulting in a 7-3 win!

The scoring was opened by Frankie, Nathan and manwell showing excellent passes to one an other and talking throughout leading to manwell scoring the the first goal of the day making it 1-0. Alban bravely stepped up to take a penalty after a hand ball, however was very unlucky as it collided with the post. Shortly afterwards, James then curled a fantastic free kick taking us to 2-0 before then setting up Nathan who extended the score sheet to 3-0!

The opposition then conceded a well worked goal taking it to 3-1 before Frankie then played it through to James who then scored another goal taking us to 4-1

The opposition fought back with two goals to close the gap to 4–3, but James struck again to make it 5–3 achieving his hatrick! Jay continued to impress in goal with several crucial saves, with Alban performing excellent solid tackles throughout the game keeping the momentum on his side’s team. Nathan then added his second goal of the match for 6–3 before James completed the scoring with another free kick to seal a convincing 7-3 victory!

Words from the coach letting the boys know they all worked so hard and the intensity to chase and work hard off the ball was brilliant today ..

Match Report

Back to winning ways for the west end boys.
The opening goal came after excellent pass from Alban to Nathan, allowing him to finish confidently and make it 1-0.
The lead was doubled soon after when James delivered a lovely cross into the box and Frankie was on hand to tap it the ball home making it 2-0.
James then received a free kick hitting it with power and pace unfortunately deflecting off the cross bar and back into play.
Nathan then added his second of the match showing great technique to finish with the outside of his boot and extend the advantage to 3-0.
The fourth goal came following impressive work from the goalkeeper to start the move. Frankie provided the assist and Nathan completed his hat-trick with a superb top-corner finish to make it 4-0.
Then onto another brilliant ball from Alban to James who finished it calmly into the bottom corner taking it to 5-0.
Emmanuel almost added his name to the scoresheet with a quick snapshot that went narrowly wide.
The sixth goal arrived from a 1-2 corner with Frankie and James working together as a team and Frankie finishing it in the top corner.
And finally Nathan showed excellent awareness to provide the assist, and Frankie finished from close range to make it 7-0.
