When Kate came to me she didn’t have a clue where to start.

Machines felt intimidating.

She didn’t know what to do with a barbell, never mind trust herself to walk over to one.

The goal was never the scales.

It was her walking into that gym and knowing exactly what she was there to do.

That’s what you’re looking at in that second photo.

Not just a different body.

A woman who belongs there now.

She even said “Just having a little proud moment of how much I’ve changed this year and the progression I’ve made with your help.”

She’s lost over 6kg since we started. But that was never the goal I was working towards with her.

This is why I don’t just lead with numbers when I talk about my clients.

The kg is just what happens when the confidence comes first.

If you’re stood at the edge of the gym floor right now wondering if you’ll ever feel like you know what you’re doing, message me STUCK.

That was her too, not that long ago.

I was the girl who used to struggle to hit my calories during the day only to find myself absolutely starving at night and reaching for a chocolate bar

I’ve realised that I just wasn’t eating enough, or building meals that actually kept me full.

So now I focus on making my meals protein-rich, filling, enjoyable and easy to stick to.

Here’s what I’ve got lined up this week:
🍳 Breakfast: Eggs, cheese & potatoes
🍗 Lunch: Chicken mince, rice, mixed veg & curry sauce
🥝 Snack: Greek yogurt, kiwi, chia seeds & 70–85% dark chocolate
🌶️ Dinner rotation

And yes, there’s chocolate included.

The goal is to eat enough, consistently, whilst actually enjoying my food.

You don’t need a completely different breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day.

Having a few meals you know you enjoy, know what the calories/macros are in, and can easily prep means:
✅ Less decision fatigue
✅ Easier to hit your calories consistently
✅ Easier to stay on track when life gets busy
✅ Less overthinking food
✅ You can still have variety by rotating a few different dinners

When your meals are satisfying and you’re hitting your calories throughout the day you’re far less likely to end up standing in the kitchen at 9pm thinking you could eat the entire cupboard

More food. Better meals. Less restriction. Better consistency.

That’s what makes the difference long term 💪🏼

You’ve had the best summer.

Then Sunday night hits and you’re lying there pretending you’re fine about Monday.

You are not fine about Monday.

I know this one so well. Back in my 9-5, I’d come back off time out and spend the whole first week acting like a normal functioning adult while internally I could not remember my own log in details.

If you’ve had the kids off for 6 weeks that’s a whole different level of “no routine whatsoever” and then suddenly it’s back to packed lunches, school runs, and pretending you remember how any of this works.

It was never really the work or the school run that got me. It was everything around it.

Snacks back on the desk next to you and suddenly it feels like a test.

Like, why has a biscuit got so much power over my mood at half 9 in the morning.

Work lunches where you’ve not sorted so you’re stood there deciding between a meal deal and a full breakdown.

Then the weekend comes round and you think, I’ve earned this, one hard week back.

Monday two feels worse than Monday one ever did.

So here’s what actually helped me.

Stop making snacks mean something. A biscuit with your coffee is just a biscuit. It’s not a verdict on your whole day, calm down.

Sort lunch the night before, even roughly. Doesn’t need to be a whole meal prep situation.

Just knowing what you’re having stops that “sod it, I’ll grab whatever” moment at half 12.

Let the weekend be a weekend. Not something you need to earn, not something you need to make up for come Monday.

Just life.

It stops that loop.

If you’re back to school runs and 9-5s this week and want a proper hand getting some structure back without the all-or-nothing spiral, my School Holiday Survival Guide’s still free, comment ROUTINE and I’ll send it over.

Snacks, lunches, or the weekend reset.

Be honest with yourself for a second.

Kids are back at school.

You’re back in the 9-5.

Your “I’ll sort myself out in September” plan? It’s already slipping, isn’t it.

You’re knackered by 6pm.

You’re eating whatever’s quickest, not what actually fuels you. Picking at the kid’s leftovers.

You’ve said “I’ll start Monday” for three Mondays running.

You know the drill. You know it doesn’t magically get easier from here.

Here’s what I know: Nobody’s going to hand you a letter saying ‘Now is the right time’

You have to actually decide today that you’re doing something about it.

Spaces for Back to You: The Routine Rebuilder close today. We start Monday.

This is 8 weeks.

Training around your life. Food that fuels you, not restricts you.
A community of women in the exact same boat, doing it alongside you.

Just a plan that fits around your actual life.

If you’ve been scrolling past this post for weeks telling yourself “maybe next time”

There isn’t a next time.

This is it.

Spaces close today, £99 for anyone in before then.

You don’t know that you can do it if you don’t try.

Enquire now. DM me or comment “ROUTINE” below 👇🏻

Bank holiday I used to have three days of “I’ll sort myself out Tuesday” and by Tuesday I couldn’t even remember what I’d actually eaten, I just knew I felt rubbish. 😅

Not because of one drink. Not because of one meal out but because I had zero plan and just let the whole weekend happen to me.

Swipe for what I actually do differently now. None of it’s restrictive, none of it means missing out.

It’s just having one or two anchors in the day so I’m not making every decision on the fly, starving, at 3pm.

You can have the full weekend AND feel alright on Tuesday. Promise.

If this is hitting a bit close to home and you’re already thinking about September looking different.

Drop me BACK TO YOU and I’ll send you everything 🫶🏻
