Another fantastic win for the boys today as we beat East Durham Youth Blues 3-0 in very wet conditions. We started quickly with Kai latching on to a through ball from Dillon before finding the bottom corner for his 3rd goal of the week. We then went on to hit the cross bar twice through long range efforts from Isaak and Dillon. We weren't to be denied though as shortly after, Callum was brought down in the box and Brody calmly dispatched the penalty. Harry twice had to pull off outstanding saves to keep East Durham out. HT - 2-0
In the 2nd half East Durham pushed us back as they tried to find a way back into the game. Time and time again they were denied by Harry in goal and some solid defending, especially from Arin who was outstanding today. After Luke struck the crossbar with a 25 yard thunderbolt, Theo headed in to make it 3-0 and effectively game over. Harry and Arin share the Man of the Match award. East Durham are a good team who win a lot more than they lose so it was a massive achievement to come away with the 3 points. An excellent win, and incredibly we are now unbeaten in 6 matches, including 3 wins in 5 days. Only 3 games left now as we look to finish the season strongly.

We play our 4th match in 8 days as we welcome East Durham Blues U13s to Monkwearmouth. We head into the game full of confidence, on the back of a 5 match unbeaten run.

We extended our unbeaten run to 5 with a thrilling 4-2 win against Consett Anarchy. We showed no signs of tiredness after 3 games in 6 days as we started on the front foot tonight and found ourselves 2-0 up at Half Time. After a couple of early saves from Harry, we opened the scoring with a brilliant individual goal from Callum. Not long after, Kai swept in his 2nd goal in 2 games from a Dillon inswinging corner.

The 2nd half started well as Kai returned the favour for Dillon who found the net with a great long range strike. A spirited fightback from Consett saw them pull 2 goals back and the game was in the balance at 3-2. Henry wrapped things up with a fine follow up shot after Theo had tested the keeper. Tonight's performance was even more impressive bearing in mind that Consett had beaten us 6-0 in the reverse fixture just a few weeks ago. Man of the Match was Kai for an energetic performance and a goal and an assist.

Confidence is high after 2 wins in a row and next up is East Durham Blues U13s on Saturday as we look to extend our unbeaten run even further.

⚽⚽⚽3 Points in the bag!
We travelled to Heighington FC Youth for the 2nd of 4 games this week as our busy schedule ramps up. After falling a goal down we quickly hit back with a smart finish from Theo to level things up. Just before half time we conceded a 2nd, to go in at the break 2-1 down. We started the 2nd half strongly and quickly took control. Goals from Kayden and Kai put us in front before a goal for the dubious goals panel to look at extended our lead further. Isaak's free kick into the box seemingly sailed into the net with Theo claiming a touch on the way in. Heighington pulled a goal back to make it 4-3 after a quick break and clinical finish. The scoring was then completed by a long range effort from Isaak to wrap up a deserved win. Credit to our opponents who put in a very spirited performance and never gave up. Man of the Match was Kayden. Next up for the Rockets is Consett Anarchy at Home on Thursday Night.
