Make sure you begin your training smart 🧠💪

Most people don’t struggle because they’re lazy.
They struggle because their workouts are too big a jump from where they are now.

Instead of forcing yourself into an hour long complicated workout, try this:

• Pick 2 simple movements (for example: Squats & shoulder press)
• Set a 10 minute timer for each exercise
• Move at a steady, controlled pace – focus on form, not speed
• Work in sets for your given time and rest when needed
• Finish with a short walk and a light stretch

If you can work with a smaller session like this, 3 times per week, you’ll see better progress than doing 1 “perfect” workout and then burning out.

This is exactly how I build up plans for busy clients – simple, realistic sessions that stack up and increase over time

Here are 3 strong nutrition tips for busy young adults:

1. Prep meals in advance - batch-cook lean protein, and veggies with your meals so you always have healthy options ready.
2. Choose whole foods over processed snacks - think Greek yogurt, fruit, and nuts for quick energy.
3. Hydrate consistently - carry a water bottle and aim for 3L a day to support metabolism and focus.

Nutrition made simple for your busy week.

Here’s how to stay on track, even when life’s non-stop.

1. Prep 2-3 main meals in advance - think lean protein, veg, and carbs in glass containers.

2. Keep a fresh water bottle with you - hydration keeps energy up and cravings down.

3. Pack ready to eat snacks: fruit, Greek yogurt, fiber bars or mixed nuts.

4. Use your phone to set reminders for meals and don't miss any meals!

5. Make your meals enjoyable - Meal preps don't have to be plain, bland and boring. Make something you'll love and use plenty seasoning & sauces to keep it excting to you.

You don’t need a chef or a huge kitchen. Just a plan that fits your routine

Final sparring session of the year for me this morning. Really pleased with it. As weird as it sounds - I'm quite sad I'm not going to be getting hit for another 5 weeks now

Anyways, it'll all be worth it. And hopefully tomorrow marks a massive step up for me in more ways than 1 🕶️🤞🏽

Had a long but great weekend hosting our first ever Christmas sale for The Combat Academy Sunderland! 🎁

My absolute pleasure being able to be involved with this and deliver some quality deals, products and experience for our kickboxers - while hopefully filling plenty of space under everyone's Christmas trees 🎄

Absolute pleasure having join us and oversee the set up and the whole event. Making sure our members got the best experience with some great deals and new merch!

Managed to get the gym all kitted out quick enough yesterday, really got the festive feeling ❄️ with thanks to for getting the balloon arch adding that extra touch for everyone coming in 👌🏽

Everyone in the gym this week has been in dressed up and still working well hard! Thor was my outfit of choice this year. And complete with the Mjolnir Kettlebell I thought would be a great idea to lug round all day too 😂 Don't even ask me about the hair either
