A dominant performance from the lads tonight as we backed up Sunday’s tournament with another top display, running out 6-1 winners at the Ford Hub.

We are delighted to announce the signing of Matthew Ayre

Matty came along to help us out in this morning’s tournament and immediately impressed everyone with his quality, work rate, and attitude. He enjoyed it so much that he’s decided to come out of retirement and commit to the squad for the upcoming season.

A versatile player who can do a job in multiple positions, Matty will be a fantastic addition to the team, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he brings this season.

Now for the biggest challenge… making sure he actually turns up every week! 😳😂🔴⚫️🔴⚫️

Seyetz FC 2–1 ATW FC ✅

A slow start to the game saw chances not quite fall our way. We could easily have been a couple of goals ahead in the first half, but the lads were creating some great opportunities and playing some good football. Despite the pressure, the sides went into the break level at 0–0.

The second half started with both teams looking much sharper, making for a much more open game with chances at both ends.

The breakthrough came with a brilliant strike from Smithy, who smashed the ball off the underside of the bar and into the back of the net. A great lay-off from Lewi set the goal up perfectly. 👏

The chances kept coming, and it wasn’t long before TJ played a superb through ball into Lewi, who kept his composure and buried his finish to make it 2–0. ⚽

ATW pulled one back against the run of play after a great delivery from their winger found a player at the back post, who finished well to make it 2–1.

From there, the lads stayed composed, managed the game well, and comfortably saw out the win.
