Plainsy progress through to the next round of the cup winning on pens after the game finished 1-1

We Created a few changes 1st half after controlling the game but just wouldn't go in for us..2nd half Hebburn had an early chance with ball over the top with there striker trying to lob dave in goal but he managed to pull off a good save , we then took control of the game again and took the lead 10 mins into the 2nd half with thommo slotting it away assisted by Brandon .
Hebburn never gave up and levelled with 10 mins to go .

Game then went to pens with the 1st 14 pens between both sides been scored, then passmore saves down to his left giving advantage to us , and with Brandon ready to step forward with the deciding pen , dave decided to take control and step up instead and buried the pen right into the corner to send the Plainsy into the next round!

The Dolphin 3 - 4 Leon&HPF

Into the last 16. Scrappy game from start to finish, Ryly’s sat the dollys full back on his arse and hit the post from a good distance. Their keepers made a good save from Macca to get them into HT 0-0.

Second half started but we didn’t, we went a goal behind after the dolly caught us out at the back. We sharp equalised minutes later, Thommo barged over in the box and got up and slotted the Penna away. Ryly got us infront, moments later Thommo doubled the lead. Credit to the dolly who kept going and pulled 2 back to make it 3-3. Ryly then turned provider for Hilesy to header home from a corner to win the game.

Fatfield Club 1 - 2 Leon&HPF

After losing the reverse fixture 4-2 last week, in a game we could and should have won we were full of confidence.

Dominated and moved the ball early doors and were kicked off the pitch at times. Some how went into HT 1-0 down after a some wayward defending by Mitch to say the the least.

Second half was very tight but we got our rewards after Macca plays it into Logan, he skins his man and finds young Ryly in the box who takes it down and puts it into the corner calm as ya like. Back to front goal quality. We’ve getting ahead when the two front men combined as Lewi Robbo, sends Thommo through on goal who rounds the keeper 30 yards out and puts it into the goal. Defended and ran like mad for the next 20 minutes and seen it out for the points.

Leon humbledon 4-1 oddies

Today seen us take on a newly reformed very young oddies team in the league cup.

The game started of fast and furious within the first 10 mins there striker got sent off. 20 mins in came the first goal from a corner sent over by our new veteran Stephen bogie which was perfect to the human salmon Liam hiles with a bullet of a header leaving them no chance I actually think the keeper dived 2 mins after it hit the net hahah. Oddies youth and fitness seemed to help them massively as they kept the pressure on with some decent attacks but ithey managed to pull one back after our Davey Passmore pulled off a brilliant save but after hitting the group spilled it for them to make it 1-1 stocking up on super glue for Dave haha but it goes with out saying he kept us in the game with some outstanding saves through out the full game. The 2nd half came and there side Line was relentless towards our captain liam hiles but yet again he hushed them up after macca sent over a sweet ball from a free kick which was inch perfect for Hilesy to header again leaving there full 9’players flabbergasted after he plaved it in the top corner. Ouch that’s gotta hurt oddies hahaha the 3rd came from the angriest gadgy in Sunday league when we played them off the park sending the defence dizzy for Logan Herrons rocket into the bottom corner I think the keeper made the dive for Hilsey first at the same time as Logan’s goal hahahaha.
Then came the 4th for yet again passing perfection for Lewi Robbo placing it perfectly leaving keeper no chance.

Today seen us playing away to a new team
town and farm athletic who are flying in the 5th division.
The first came from passing play from the back when cal brown was put through to slot it in.
The 2nd came from yet another play from the back cal this time assisted Lewi Robbo with a beautiful strike. Lewi hutch put in a beautiful ball from right wing assisting Lewi Robbo yet again scoring his brace 3-0 the 4th came just before half time when kei road runner ramsey put in a sweet ball to cal brown for another brace.

The 5th came halfway through the 2nd half when the young gun 17 year old Dan the brick brettle took on 2 of there players passing it to Joe new knee Mather with a lovely 1/2 for Dan to slot it away well done kid .

The last came from a corner that was sent back out to cal brown who put a lovely ball in to the veteran poacher Scotty Robbie Keane Bulmer climbed up to score a sensational header

And we have to say the defence was solid as can be Liam hiles Mitch chapman and Kei Ramsey with Lewi hutch and macca as wing backs

Dylan hill was unplayable today going from cdm to cb and cleaned up every time

⚽️ COUNTY CUP LAST 32 ⚽️

We were playing easy Stanley wmc a very good young team who won the Durham alliance cup last season and are currently unbeaten in there premier league.

The wind made things very difficult for both teams but we were playing into the wind the first half, both teams playing good football but we had the better of them with there keeper keeping them in the game. The first came from a stunning free kick perfectly placed into the bottom corner by Lewi Robbo Cool as ya like

Then they pulled one back from some tidy play 1-1 the the 2nd half came we had the wind using it to our advantage the constant onslaught but yet again there keeper pulling off some brilliant saves. We went 2-1 up as Lewi Robbo put the relentless Callum brown through who took a shot saved by the keeper to then bounce back to him to put it away. In last last 15 mins they put a ball across the box which it deflected in of our defence no names given hahahaha.

Then as usual it went straight to penalties. Our very own spud nearly saving there first penalty as it just went under his arm. Now the funny part Jack cuz Parnaby saying the week before he never misses a penalty well m8 you should always be careful of what you say hahaha. Some say the ball is still travelling to this day and there is evidence that it has no chance of slowing down 😂😂😂😂
But it went down to the wire with spud nearly saving one then pulling off an amazing save pushing it onto the post for it to run across the line then him having to sprint back to stop it from crossing the line 🧤. Have to mention Cairnsy panenka cool as ya like . Then stepped up the man ot the moment Reece pilky who’s just came back and had the balls to take it to slot it away and win us the game. Welcome come back penna Pilky.

Today seen us take on fellow prem side The Lansdowne FC. We Held our own against a strong fit side but we ended up 2-0 in the first half even with all our attempts having give as good as why we got we just couldn’t finish our chances. 2nd half came and it was back and forth all game they put another away making it 3-0 then we managed to pull one back from thommo lobbing there keeper after him trying to catch a scrappy ball. Good luck on the rest of the cup lads.

County cup day seen us take on lambton lions. We started off very quick scoring from kick off with Callum brown back to full strength doing what he does best running through the team nearly scoring for thommo to sweep it up. We created endless chances but just couldn’t seem to put them away. Browney set up the new comer Danilo for the 2nd then Danilo set up thommo for the 3rd just before half time. 4th came from kei ramsy assist to another new comer Logan Herron who glided through 2 of there players to then Meg the keeper then Logan assisted the el capitano Liam hiles who brought the ball down cool as you like then an outside of the boot slot into the bottom comer. Then came the smoothest goal of the game when Kei Ramsey put the ball to Lewis Thompson’s feet to then turn the defender inside out sent him for the paper then placed into the oinion bag.

Yesterday seen us take on a young good sunderland south away for the league cup 3rd round, the weather conditions made it very hard playing against the wind in the first half but we still managed to put 2 away should of been 4 to 5 but there keeper was pulling saves off like you wouldn’t believe pulling out which should of been a screamer from Jack Parnaby taking on 3 players smashing it into top bins but it has to go down as there save of the season. The 2nd half came and we had the advantage with the wind behind us, it was a constant attack from us sunderland south done well to keep the score as low as it was thommo hitting the cross bar twice and the post twice not to mention our very own Brandon Lancaster missing a penalty then missing the rebound 3 yards away with the keeper still on his back hahahaha.

3 quality goals from the one and only thommo and 1 penalty and a screamer from Cairnsy using the wind to slot it past the full team past the keeper vision you can’t teach it.

Today we took on hebburn clock premier scaffolding in the 2nd round of the cup

We started within the first 2 minutes from kick off with play from the back quick passing up the wings for thommo to slot it away giving us the lead. It looked like a white wash as we went 3-0 up having a penalty from thommo and Browney also letting everybody know he’s back from a bad injury but we seem to get complacent and mistakes were made which cost us as they pulled 1 back 3-1 at half time. Into the 2nd half they kept the pressure on the game got a bit wild but nothing we couldn’t deal with it went 3-3 with minutes to go but we were awarded a penalty to which thommo never fails slotting it away finishing 4-3.

Good luck to Hebburn for the season. On to the next round we go
