Street Outdoor Bowls Club We are Street Bowling Club in Somerset. Established in 1921. We are mixed and have 50 members. New members welcome 😊

We have the beautiful Mendip Hills on the doorstep and the world famous Glastonbury Tor can be seen partially from our bowling green.

A great week for the club. On Wednesday the men won the final of the Mid Somerset League against Bath A. A special thanks to Purnell Bowling club for hosting the evening.
On Friday the Mixed team won the Mid Somerset Mixed League against Weston Bath. A special thanks to Norwest Bowling Club for hosting.

Mixed day for the club at the National Finals Bowls England.

Sadly, Karen Malone lost her singles match 21-14 against a lady from Bannister Park. Well done for getting this far Karen 👏👍You still have the triples!!

However, Mark Woods played two matches today in the two wood and won both. He now plays again tomorrow. Good luck to you Mark 👍👍

UPDATE 13/08/26

Mark played another match last night (didn't realise) and sadly came 2nd ☹️. A great effort Mark. He will now be in the Balcombe team for Somerset Bowls Association playing I believe at the weekend. Good luck 👍
