Velociposse Cycling Club We are a cycling club based in London, for women, trans and NB riders. Also, not to brag, but our kit is pretty awesome.

Our aim is to create a safe pathway to racing through group support, riding fast and having fun. We’re a group of women, trans, and non-binary cyclists who want to ride fast and have fun, on the track and on the road. A few of us have been with Velociposse since the beginning but many of us are relatively new. We’re from a range of backgrounds – some of us have been athletic all our lives; others,

not so much. Many of us tried traditional cycling clubs and, while we have a huge amount of respect for them, we found that we prefer riding with a femme-focused club, where we can train and race together in a supportive environment. We’re competitive and up for a challenge, but we like having fun and a post-ride beer (or four) too.

Eeva raced a crit this morning at the Leiedal Koerse in Bavikhove, Belgium. She took the bunch sprint for 7th place. The winner was the one and only Marianne Vos ahead of Ann-Sophie Duyck.

Go Ride Coach Russell Hampton will be running a series of Women Only Sessions in line with the Full Gas Series at Lee Valley

We will be targeting skills & group techniques. This is designed to enhance knowledge and give riders confidence to compete in the series of races within a friendly and relaxed environment.
