💛 British Masters Champs 2026 💛
A small but mighty group of PSC Masters swimmers made the 600 mile journey from Poole to Aberdeen to compete in this year's British Masters champs. Out of the 11 individual races swim between the 4 of us, we brought back 2 x 🥇, 4x🥈 and 4x🥉 age group medals.
Liam - after an unlucky run with injuries earlier in the season, Liam put in a big block of training and had a breakthrough meet in Aberdeen, with PBs in his 50m fly and 50m back, and was part of Basingstoke's mens 160+ relay team who won 4 gold's and a new British Record.
Karen - raced the 100m breaststroke and 50m breaststroke with encouraging performances, despite not feeling 100%. With a lot of gym work in the bank this year, this best is definitely still yet to come 💪🏻
Nuala - raced the 200,400,800 and 1500m free and if that wasn't enough also won 🥇in the 4x200 fr relay. Standout performance was her 400m free, saving her best til the last race of the weekend 😁
Naomi - sadly no breaststroke due to a knee injury, Naomi got to enjoy racing some other strokes this year, getting big PBs in the 50m free and 50m back
