I started Karate at age 10.
I began representing my national team internationally at age 17. I continued representing my sport as an athlete internationally for 21 years.
β’
The sport has enabled me to have a positive impact on my community, as well as different communities around the world.
β’
I have inspired & been inspired by athletes & coaches from across the globe.
β’
I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to represent two countries, both England & now Jamaica π―π²ππΏ.
β’
Alongside my team mates, we have been able to use our platform to create a pathway for young Jamaican athletes at home & abroad who will represent in WKF Karate in the years to come & will continue to support the development of wider karate.
β’
Today, I officially retire from the sport as an athlete & would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has contributed to my journey, you know who you are. Extra special thanks goes to my incredible wife Melissa & our two wonderful girls. It would not have been possible without your support, love & guidance. Forever greatful to the Jamaica Karate Federation & Jamaica Olympic Association ππΏ.
Excited for this next chapter
