Ok...Here’s why I have hope for tonight.

1. In sport…when you “cross the line,” one, overriding emotion, can be relief. That’s why it can be so hard to follow up success with a win while your energy levels are affected by the aftermath of relief. They’ve just won the league.
2. ⁠every team has an off night. They did against Quarabag …they can again.
3. ⁠we’re at home…the atmosphere should be rocking. Some very good teams have fallen to us at the bowl when it’s been a cauldron.
4. ⁠get the first goal and the cauldron will lose it’s roof.
5. ⁠There’s going to be loads of scarves held up! 🤪. (seriously, though, I do believe that the visual spectacle of a sea of Claret & Blue can only affect things positively)

Clutching at straws. Probably. Blindly optimistic. Perhaps. Up for it...110%!

I completed keepy-uppies every day in November to help tackle bowel cancer with the Bobby Moore Fund. 100% of the money raised will go towards funding pioneering bowel cancer research. Please show your support and help fund bowel cancer research by donating to my page.
Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.

Have literally got butterflies in the stomach ahead of Thursday. If we can do the job this week we, genuinely, believe that the crowd at the Bowl on the 17th can give the players the extra boost needed to get through.

We're more hopeful for this tie than any other so far this season, or, in fact, for many a season.

Go on lads...do it for us, for all the kids who've never witnessed this before, for the club, for the badge, for our pride and last, but definitely not least, for Mr West Ham, Mark Noble, in his final season as a player!

COME ON YOU RIP ROARIN' IRONS!
