Stratford Gliding Club is one of the Midlands leading gliding clubs situated just a few miles north of Stratford upon Avon in the heart of the country. A professional operation run by the members for the members, we’re open seven days a week from May until the end of September and on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays during the Winter. Whether you’re a visitor, trainee or an experienced pilot, Stratford Gliding Club is a great place to be. Every level of ability is catered for ranging from novices requiring instruction to more experienced pilots who want take advantage of our cross country development week and pundits who fly hundreds of kilometers in a flight. We also run an annual cadet scheme, providing six under 18 year olds with subsidized training and flying for 12 months. We extend a warm welcome to visitors whether they want to drop in to the club to learn more about gliding, take a trial lesson or purchase a trial lesson voucher as a gift for someone special. We also hold corporate and group evenings during the summer for groups of ten people or more. See our website for more information.
