On Friday, we wrapped up our first Netball Social Comp, and what a finish it was! 🏐✨

🏆 Our first ever champions are… GOALDEN GIRLS! 🏆

The Club are hosting a fundraising event to help get a new wheelchair for Pebbles Sawyer, and we’d love to see as many of you down as possible.

📍 Smith Avenue Running Track
🗓 Saturday 4th April
⏰ From 2:00pm

There’ll be wheelchair laps (players taking turns pushing and sitting), shinty skills and competitions on the pitch, plus a tea & coffee stall. Something for everyone to get involved in.

It’s all for a brilliant cause, so whether you’re taking part or just coming along to support, it’ll make a massive difference 🙌

Let’s get a good crowd down and show what the club is all about 💙

Please let us know asap if you can’t field an umpire.
Each game starts with 10 mins of warmup time with first whistle at 7:10 or 8:10.

Rule refresh: OBSTRUCTION
❗️You must be 3ft/0.9m before raising your arms to defend a player with the ball
❗️You cannot obstruct a player’s movement or be in their way (deliberately or accidentally), even if they do NOT have the ball.
❗️You must allow other players to land. If someone lands on your foot as they jump to attempt the ball the penalty will usually be on you.
❗️GK/GD in the circle can be within 3ft of the shooter with the ball but must not defend, deflect or interfere with the shooter’s ability to pass or shoot in any way.
