This Saturday we will travel down to Inverleith Park to play in the Gentlemen of the North 10's tournament hosted by Edinburgh Northern RFC.

This marks the second year in a row we have competed, and the team are looking forward to day trip to Edinburgh.

We will be heading down to Edinburgh Northern RFC to take part in the Gentlemen of the North 10's Tournament again after competing last year.

⭐ Free Workshops in March for Club Players, Coaches, Parents and Volunteers ⭐

♦️ Women and Girls Mental Health & Wellbeing Session
▪️ Tuesday 10th March
▪️ 6:30 to 8pm

This is for Youth Girls, Vixens, Female Volunteers, Players Mums and Female Coaches at the club - sign up by scanning the QR code in the poster or via the link below.

♦️ Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing for Players
▪️ Wednesday 11th March
▪️ 5.30 to 6.30pm

This session will be delivered as a series of physical activities looking at mental health and wellbeing of players. It will include basic mental health and wellbeing, food and mood and where to seek support. It will also be accompanied by a resource pack for parents.

This session is open to all YOUTH players at the club (age 16+) - sign up by scanning the QR code in the poster or via the link below.

▪️ Wednesday 11th March
▪️ 7 to 9pm

Aimed at gaining knowledge and skills of how to approach those you are worried about and have a conversation about their mental health. Including tips on getting support and looking after your own wellbeing.

This is for all Coaches/Volunteers at the club over the age of 16.

We’re buzzing to share an exciting update on our exclusive 50th anniversary bottling! 🥃🔥

We can now confirm that it will be a Balblair 11 year old single cask whisky, distilled on 13/09/2014 and bottled at 58.4% ABV.

This unique dram celebrates everyone who has been part of our journey — players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and the wider Stonehaven community who have shaped the club over the years.

Expect rich tropical notes, vanilla, soft fruits and a warm, memorable finish — a perfect toast to the friendships and memories that make Mackie RFC what it is. ❤️🖤

Only 150 bottles are available, and the vast majority are already subscribed.

Club Members,

To mark 50 years of Mackie RFC, we’re teaming up with Kilwhang Whisky to produce a one-off, club-only single malt bottling – and it’s shaping up to be a cracker.

This will be a limited run of around 200 bottles of 11–12 year old,
cask-strength single malt Scotch whisky, bottled specifically for the club. Each bottle will cost £75, with money from every sale going back into Mackie RFC.

A few of you may already have sampled some of our previous outturns (purely for quality control, obviously…) at the Boxing Day match, where over 40 bottles were snapped up on the spot. Demand is already strong.

No payment needed just now – we’re simply asking members to register a firm intention to buy so final numbers can be confirmed.
