Yesterday, I had the privilege of spending an incredible day at the Queen’s Club as a guest of the LTA, celebrating the heartbeat of British tennis: our volunteers.

It was genuinely inspiring to be among a cohort of 40 amazing individuals who selflessly give their time, energy, and expertise to grow the game we love. From parks and local clubs to county and national levels, these are the people making things happen on and off the court…..Tennis Activators & Coaches, Committee Members and Tournament Officials.

To top off a fantastic day of celebrating tennis heroes, we got to watch Emma Raducanu win both her quarter and semi-final matches—plus caught a brilliant bonus view of the Red Arrows flypast for Trooping the Colour!

A massive thank you to the LTA for hosting such a memorable event, and to all the volunteers who continue to build the wonderful game of tennis.

What a weekend for the Men’s Staffs team, who battled hard to finish 2nd in their group!

Day 1: Tough opener with a loss to Derbyshire
Day 2: Strong comeback with a win over Warwickshire
Day 3: Finished in style, defeating East of Scotland 💪

A big congratulations to our ladies who secured 3rd place in a very strong group at the Winter County Cup.

The players showed determination, commitment and a great team spirit, especially after the long journey to Sunderland Tennis Club.
