Behind the scenes with Playbox 🎬

Early starts, unpredictable weather and plenty of preparation. It’s all part of getting ready for another day of delivering activities!

There’s a lot that goes on before the first session. From loading the vans and travelling to venues to setting up equipment and making sure everything is ready to go.

It’s not just about turning up with the equipment. It’s about the planning, preparation and people behind every event.

🚲 BIKE BASICS | Building Confidence on Two Wheels!

Tim and Tom have been back in training, developing their skills and knowledge ahead of delivering our Bike Basics workshops to KS1 pupils!

Bike Basics is one of our featured school enrichment experiences, designed to help pupils develop the fundamental skills needed to ride a bike confidently, safely and independently.

Whether a pupil has never ridden before, is still finding their confidence or is already comfortable on two wheels, our workshops provide opportunities for everyone to learn, develop and progress at their own pace.

Through practical activities and structured challenges, Bike Basics supports:

🚲 Confidence & Independence
🚲 Balance & Coordination
🚲 Resilience & Perseverance
🚲 Physical Literacy & Development

It's about much more than learning to ride a bike. It's about giving pupils the confidence to try, the resilience to keep going and a skill they can enjoy for years to come.

Looking ahead to a busy 2027! 👀

Tim and Tom visited the Leisure Supplies Show at the Three Counties Showground today, checking out the latest equipment and exploring potential new additions to the Playbox line-up.

Plenty of ideas as we look to bring even more activities and experiences to our schools, parties and events next year!

Another week done! 💚🙌

It’s been another busy one for the Playbox team, with plenty of miles covered, lots of laughs and loads of fun along the way!

Most importantly, we’ve seen plenty of smiling faces and children having an amazing time this week… and it’s safe to say the staff have enjoyed themselves just as much!

What a first month for Playbox Events!

We had a blast celebrating Nico’s 6th birthday with Combat Dodgeball, Football and plenty of fun on the Inflatable Assault Course! 💥

A Playbox Enrichment Day is designed to make delivering something different for your pupils simple.
