Hi all ,
Meadow Park Mens Sundays FC are looking for players for the upcoming season .We will be competing in the Redditch and South Warwickshire Championship division

Pre-season training will commence from ,Thursday 22nd June and we’ll train every Thursday and Sunday until season commences. During the season training will continue to be on Thursdays at South Bromsgrove 3G in the winter and Harris Brush (our home pitch) in the summer.

With the meadow park ultras in attendance Sundays game was always going to be an exciting one .Coming of the bat off a win last week and Lee Clayton bringing the godfather of football hooliganism to support park started strongly .
But 20 mins in yazza stormed through on goal however he’s decided to pass the ball to hunter playing in the park than shoot on goal.

Park got on the Score sheet early with yazza clearing the ball again to fall to “bad Clayton “ who miss kicked it home
Park then conceded with allegedly good Clayton playing a skill pass to their centre forward who flip flapped yazza and left him on the floor and slotted home .

Pundit favourite Xavier gave an inspiring speech at half time spurring another goal from bad Clayton

Something must of gone wrong as some how cal turner ended up in the opposition box and despite a nosebleed being so far up the pitch managed to lob the keeper and bag his first Utmp goal. He now joins the ranks of milts yazza xav and Clayton on mpfc goals .

Keeper Ben “chino “winterton also Croyf turned turned a striker which deserves an honourable mention

Match report Park 7 Queens Head 1
With park struggling last game today was a key moment in our league conquest .Record attendance was recorded at the brush with the ultras led by Lee Clayton(smiliest Clayton)

The nature of the game was apparent early when captain yazza yarwood missed the ball early on inside the box
Luckily player manager’ish Xavier got on the end of a well taken corner

Park then scored again when parks “engine “ Xavier finished a very composed pen

In true park fashion we conceded from a set piece play in our third,luckily for whoever’s man scored me nor max saw it and they have avoided a grilling ,though it was probably “bad” Clayton’s .
With the score line at 2:1 the second half of parks dynamic duo Ben Evans got on the end of a peach of a cross by “moustached meastro” oli kay .

Score now 3:1 captain yarwood rose to a great cross in the box lept like a salmon ,hovered like Jesus ,and landed like a brick . An Unfortunate miss

Shortly after international signing and parks second best looking player scored a cross that if it was weren’t for the bobble was probably going wide .4:1 park

Yazza then missed the goal and the ball ….enough said

Yazza finally gets on the score sheet scoring a bulldozing goal where he’s pushed into the ball and it flies of his shin beating queens heads keeper, then runs to the corner flag and flops in the mud ,my captain ❤️

Meadow Park 2:6 Arrow spa

First 20 mins park competed with Xavier giving himself minutes in the cdm spot dictated play against spa .
Oli “moustache “Kay managed to jog out his half where the ball was blasted at him at close range he plucked it out the sky Pirlo esc and played a weighted ball into “ bad “Clayton who shot . Spas Keeper was distracted by a bird and the ball dribbled in .

1:0 Meadow park
Conor”polo”Pearce pocketed a tricky winger before rupturing his hamstring whiles being spun and left for dead .
Meadow was lacking in the midfield after milts had to play cb and spa had a long shot that troubled keeper ben “chino “ winterton who parried it into spas centre forward who slotted home .
For not the first time this season meadow capitulated and spa scored another
Half time 2:1 spa

Park came out confident led by captain yazza to push second half … Park conceded again from a goal kick parks keeper chipped into spas attacking midfielder ….. enough said
3:1 spa

4:1 spa a ball shanked over parks back line fell to spas centre forward Played onside by “big c**k “boyden .

5:1 down parks keeper ben “chino” winterton was stuck in the mud and didn’t come out to claim a long ball. Whilst running races are usually yazzas forté unlucky for park he had his lead boots on again and spas forward scored another

5:2 parks midfielder and man of the match milts took the ball on in spas final thirds with a sublime touch beat three players and slotted the ball in the bottom corner , Keeper had no chance!

6:2 spa “good” Clayton (allegedly ) decided 5 goals wasn’t enough for spa and gifted them a six . Clayton is now hoping to sign for spa on a permanent deal.

Meadowpark 5 Beoley Village 3

Game began park on the press. A long ball game meant Conor ”polo” pearce, Joe “good “Clayton and “just” boyden had plenty to do with beoley villages Swedish maestro as they’re opponent, Park were on for a good game.

Park got on the score sheet early with Callum shooting from a corner with the ball bouncing off “bad” Clayton’s head. Great shot Cal!

Beoley then equalised with Cal turner who allegedly goes gym was sent flying by a 17 year old winger, for him to slot it home past Ben who was caught picking his nose. Not daisy’s this week .

Symonds’ team responded with “bad “Clayton’s first touch playing in Oli G, who took it round Beoley’s keeper with sheer finesse.

Park scored again with another lethal corner from cal Keighty, which was met by boyden who had mounted Oli G to header the ball across box and yet again the ball happened to hit the back of “bad” Clayton’s head and dribbled in.

Parks fourth goal, the ball was brought down from 40 foot in the air by milts (sublime touch) who played a damaging ball down the line to oli g, who beat his man and whiped the ball in that was met by beoleys centre half - our best player of the game .

Beoley then came back with a punishing shot from beoleys forward kindly assisted by Boyden who played a great ball cutting through our back line.

Beoley then scored another where boyden was caught stuck in the mud and his winger played the ball in to be finished again .

Super sub xav Symonds brought himself on to save the day scoring a naughty left footed chip over the keepers head .

Park 0 Abbeydale 2

Difficult day at the office for park ,a tough one to handle . Abbeydale came out strong with a long ball style of play that trouble park early on .A cross whiped in parks box from a abbeydale wide midfielder was met by Connor ”polo” Pearce who seemed to take off as he fired the ball into parks net argueably one of the best/only goals he’s ever scored.

In true park fashion heads dropped and we conceded again a good strike from Abbeydales forward beat parks keeper in the bottom corner .

Abbeydale didn’t threaten parks keeper much after this due to Outstanding performances from Joe ”good “clayton ,josh wiseman and maybe even boyden (who took and early booking and somehow only booking off the game ) meant parks stand in keeper had little to do but play with daisys and shank the ball out of play

Park came in at half time to a bollocking from manager xav Symonds and Peter jones which seemed to spur park on .

Second half began and Park was awarded a decisive penalty that captain yazza stood up to take (cheers Clayton) .Upon both teams lining up around the box an abbeydale big lump at the back elbowed a park player (disgusting incident).Yazza was furious and in protest he then fired the ball over the goal. captain

Park continued to have multiple chances from the likes of jack “training player”peplow who missed a few sitters .And James “bad “clayton who just missed everything
Game ended Park 2:0. Down another successful cup run 🍺

Match report:Worcester Saints
Park started this morning poorly with half of team late to the meet time .Sadly due to injury liness and others being away they had to start.Yazza came off the bench to start as a central midfielder with wiseman also making a suprice apearance next to him .Park also started with a change in personal up front hoping he would bag a few more goals ….
The game started with saints in possession for the first 15. Park had started with a FLAT five at the back meaning saints had space to play -luckily a managerial masterclass from milts screamed at the fullbacks to get out the line and step higher park managed to get on top.
Shortly later fulback oli kay made a blistering run down the line ,whilste battling his nosebleed in saints final third he whiped a cross in that dribbled into the back post . 1:0 Park

Not long later milts made an energetic run at saints back 4 and keeper taking all off them and a goal line clearance to keep his three efforts out of their net .
Wiseman also made a great clearance in saints 6 yard box firing it over the trees.
Even yazza had got up the pitch to test saints keeper however luckily milts dived in the way of his attempt .

Once again oli kay found himself in a unfamiliar position in saints final third and whiped the ball into saints back post where bad Clayton was there to convert(luckily no bobbles this time )

Half time ended park two up

Quieter second half from park tired legs up front and in the middle meant park didn’t get froward as much as the first half however still on top .
Saints had a few chances that could/should of been converted including a open midfielder creating a chance down the left hand side caught boyden sleeping on the second ball luckily saints strikers boots were on the wrong feet and he missed …

Not long later the ball fell to milts in the middle of the pitch who played a pirlo esc ball over the top to bad clayton who ran at saints keeper and placed the ball into the back of then net .

With bad Clayton close to his hatrick he shot on every occasion in future shooting from anywhere but in the six yard box should be left to his brother 😉

With yazza knackered after 60 mins (shock) xav had to strap himself up and come on -nothing short of an impact player, came on met his match got injured came off.

Match report 2:1 loss vs Rubery Athletico in the cup
Park expected a battering following a future last season resulting in a 15 : 0 loss .Park set up defensively with 5 at the back . Game started with rubery dominating most of the possession with park on the back foot however parks defence remained unbeaten with a new and improved CB partnership of Good Clayton , Connor ramos Pearce and just Boyden . 35 mins in we gave away a throw in converted by a big fu**er up top (boyden caught day dreaming again ) in . Shortly after 43 rd minute a throw in converted by bad Clayton on his weak foot somehow beat the keeper . Half time ended with park enthusiastic. Fairly nothing second half meant both teams were quiet till the 71 st minute form a header won from a corner converted at the opposite post caught park of guard .

Match Report :SS lions
The first 10 minutes of the game were fairly even despite the early kick off being no good for our midfield messi cal who didn’t have time to do his hair or put the right boots on .luckily this wasn’t a problem for long 😉.
Park conceded early from what can only be described as shocking defending ,lions striker danced past Charlie day and yazza who were socially distancing him …..Must of been a really bad cough.
Not long later our keeper Ben was also caught socially distancing their striker who skinned him for a second goal .

The embarrassment continued for a third time with yet another scrappy goal to concede

Luckily our rolls Royce of football Xav Symonds got on the end of a well placed corner to fire the ball into the top of the net 3:1 down but the comeback was on . Until Garrington decided it wasn’t .lions whiped in a dangerous corner to which Garrington fired home ….must’ve got the goals confused

At 4:1 down A great ball whiped into the box by Xav landed at big Clayton’s feet sadly it was him on the end of it not his brother and appeared to miss the ball …must of been a bobble !

Meadow stepped up the pace and pressed higher even bringing cal turner on . Oli Garrington burst down the wing and fired a low cross into the box luckily for park milts was on the end this time despite being knackered doing all Colebrook’s running he fired it home .What a player !

However too little too late game ended 4:2 another sad day for park on the road
