Our U12 girls second game of the new season today was away to Signal Box Frankfort.

Here’s what Coach Dan had to say,

“A very cagey and exciting game, with both teams going toe to toe with each other.

A very even game with two very good defences. Game of few chances but lucky for us we had Ariana who put one in the top corner after some lovely link up play between her and Layla after 15 mins.

After losing a lead last week the girls went out determined for it not to happen again. They all stuck to their defensive duties and kept a well earned clean sheet away from home and coming away 1-0 winners.

Refs player of the match today for us was our captain Layla. He said she was a great communicator on the pitch and played her heart out.

Player of the match was Ariana, not many chances came her way today against a tough defence. When the chance came she was clinical and got us the win. In the last parts of the game she tracked back superbly. Great effort from her today.

Well done girls and thank you SB for hosting us.”

We’re SO excited to announce that MOWH XI will be taking on Inter Legends FC! 🙌

The U10 Reds were away to Ipplepen today in the first league game of the season.

Here’s what Coach Gary had to say,

“What an absolute brilliant game of football!

The reds were fantastic. It was a true team performance. Their workrate, hunger and desire to win their battles all over the pitch for themselves and each other was amazing.

When in possession we attacked at pace with wave after wave creating a lot of chances.

Well done reds you were fantastic!

What a way to kick off the season! Our U8s Yellows got their season underway today with an away fixture against WBB Blues, and what a start it was! 🙌

After a well-earned summer break, the boys returned to action in fantastic form and looked right at home back on the pitch.

We were treated to a hat-trick from James, a brace from Chester and even our goalkeeper Lawson got himself on the scoresheet! 🧤

More importantly, the boys worked brilliantly together, showing some fantastic passing, movement and teamwork throughout the game. We were especially pleased to see goals being created from right at the back, something the boys have been working hard on in training. 👏

It was an absolute joy to watch the boys back in action, and we’re already looking forward to seeing what the rest of the season has in store!
